Answer:	Yes. NOAA uses 7 frequencies from 162.400 to 162.550 MHz. You can check the National Weather Service website at for specific frequencies used in your area. There are over 1000 stations, covering all 50 states. Most NOAA stations operate with fairly high power, some with as much as 1000 watts, so they should be very easy to hear.

Answer:	Bottom line is this: If you can put out an RF signal you can be found. Yes many variables go into finding the source and they can find moving signals also. Answer:	Yes, its scans through all 40 channels in about 4 seconds, then continues to scan repeatedly. It will stop when channels recieve anything. Including electronic noise from your trucks locks engaging and disengaging. Not all the time. It just happens every now and then. Love this radio.

Answer:	The car roof mount comes with it but the mobile antenna is sold separate which I also bought on Amazon for about $5-6 .

Answer:	Hi I work with butters and oils and make handmade products. The grainy texture is normal, this is the Shea butter. Shea butter that is raw and unrefined is notorious for creating a bead like grainy texture once it melts and hardens but it is completely fine. It does not affect the quality or benefits of the product and still contains the skin nutrients your skin loves. On a side note, if refined shea was used then the product would never get grainy even if the heat melted it and hardened again however refined oils and butter generally have lost most if not all the nutrients in the oil or butter BUT will still moisturize your skin. Hope I cleared it up a bit.

Answer:	No, it will not likely work. The metal body of the vehicle shields you from the signal of others. I take mine while I am driving on the Interstate. The only thing I have ever picked up is when the truckers are right next to me while I am sitting in traffic and not moving. When I am outside the vehicle, I pick stuff up within a mile or two. Most of the truckers are all using single sideband radios, and you won't be able to pick them up with this radio at all.
Question:	what is the exact range this can be used if indoors like say im in a apartment my brother is like 2 miles away in a house will it go that far
Answer:	There is NEVER an exact range for radio communication. The FCC rules require that CB's put out no more than 4 watts. I have accidentally talked to a guy in New Zealand from Ventura, CA and also from there to Florida. Other times you can't talk across town with the same radio. In your situation, if the two of you are in rooms with windows that face each other you can probably talk with two of these radios and no outside antenna. But put a small magnet mount outside your window, on a pizza pan (steel) and run a wire from your pizza pan to your radio and connect it to the outside of the antenna connection and now you have an ok base station antenna and ground plain, and will be able to talk much further.

Question:	Is this one a 5 watt or 8 watt ham radio
Answer:	The Tenway that I received is able to transmit low/med/high power and is supposed to be 8watts on high. I don’t have the equipment to test it but did verify there are 3 transmit options. Based on that I believe it is the 8 watt version when in high. Hope this helps. Radio works well so far.
