Sony does not have replacement remotes and the company they contracted to sell replacement parts wants $50 for it. And they're out of stock! And it takes a long time for the unit to read a CD when you put it in. Good sound, but lots of limitations and irritations that go with it.

Answer:	No sort capability, but you can create your own playlist. Problem is the playlist is cleared when you change the disk/usb drive or turn the power off. Not very useful as creating the list is a pain. This is per the manual as I haven't tried to do this.
