Answer:	I found a trick online that RESTORED ALL MY BATTERIES. It looks like magic but it worked for me on 8 batteries. You can google it and find the videos. Basically: find two short wires. Connect a bad battery with a good battery for 3-4 seconds (male to male, female to female). This will resurrect the bad battery but drain the good one. Now charge them both. Again, this trick salvaged 8 batteries I already put for recycling.

Answer:	I have owned this. The universal charger WILL charge batteries individually. There are 4 charging 'points' and you can choose to put one small battery (AA or AAA) in one point. Of course, you can also put two small batteries in each point to get the full 8-at-a-time figure. This also only applies to the small batteries. Cs and Ds are charged individually in each point, so their max is only 4 at a time total.

The user manual clearly indicates that 240V 50Hz power is OK. The only problem you will have is the plug. The two-prong plug is designed for U.S. outlets. Answer:	If your batteries are a few years old (or have been over-charged routinely), they may have developed high internal resistance. When used in a photoflash unit, for example, they will give very slow refresh time since the terminal voltage is lower under load. But when you put them in a charger, the terminal voltage becomes higher due to charging current. So the EBL charger (which is not very smart) considers those batteries as fully charged, even through they are not.You should get some better quality rechargeable batteries (such as Panasonic eneloop) to use in your photoflash unit.
Question:	Can you charge different mAh batteries at a time? Lets say I have four 2000mAH and four 2300mAH batteries, do I have to charge these separately
Answer:	I would think they can be charged together. The mAh value simply is an indication of the length of time the battery will operate. It has nothing to do with out put current or voltage. The 2300 may take a bit longer to charge than the 2000, but I cannot say for sure that would be the case. I would put the 2000's together and the 2300's together. Don't put one size next to the other size.
Question:	How long does it take to fully charge batteries
Answer:	Charge time is determined by the capacity of the batteries divided by charging current. The charging current of EBL 808A is very low at 200mA. So to recharge a pair of 2800mAh batteries at 200mA will take at least 14 hours.

Answer:	It mean that the charger has analyzed the voltage change between charging and discharging. It is constantly performing tests on the batteries. It has decided that the battery is not holding a charge as well as it expected the battery to do. Unfortunately, this charger is too sensitive and gives up on batteries that still have a lot of useful life left in them. You can't use this to charge batteries that are more than a couple of years old or batteries made by different manufacturers. I don't think there is a way to defeat the error message and still charge the batteries.

Answer:	I have only used it to charge AAA and AA. It comes with with adapters for C and D batteries that the AA fit into. Based on the size I do not believe C and D batteries will charge properly. Also from the manual "charging unit which enables quick and optimum charging to AA and ―AAA rechargeable batteries"

Answer:	I own 3 of these. You can charge anywhere from 1 to 4 batteries at a time, and they can be mixed type. For example, you can charge 3 AAA and 1 AA at the same time. I love these chargers.

Answer:	They are the ordinary (high-self-discharge) type. The AA cells are not that great, as they were tested to around 2200mAh only. The AAA cells are around 900mAh.

Answer:	I have both. The BC1000 can also charge at 1000, 1500 & 1800mA. 2 batteries only at 1500 & 1800mA. The problem I'm running into is at anything above 700mA, the thermal cut out kicks in and the charger stops charging until the batteries cool down. All my batteries are Eneloop or Amazon high capacity. (the Amazon batteries are Eneloops) So if you already have a BC-700...IMO I don't think it's worth upgrading unless you need a second charger.

The charging progress

1. Locate the mains plug attached the Charger and connect it to a mains socket (110~240 V AC @ 50-60 Hz).The red LED should not flash; this indicates that the charger is ready for use.

2. It is essential to check that the polarity of the battery connector and the charge lead connector is correct (see Figs).

3. Connect the discharged NiMH battery pack to the charge lead attached to the charger.

4. The corresponding red LED will now light up to indicate that charging is in progress at that output.

5. When LED lights up green, the battery connected to the output is fully charged.The pack is now fed a small trickle charge current.Disconnected the charged battery from the charge output.

6. If the battery is still cool and the calculated charging time is not reached, the battery may have a “false” peak. In this can start charging the battery again.”False” peak happen mainly with old or bad NiMH -batteries.
