Answer:	The Audioengine B1 Bluetooth Music Receiver fills a specific need, instantly turning your old-school hi-fi audio system into one that supports wireless Bluetooth. Thanks to beefy specs- 24-bit sampling, support for the aptX high-quality codec as well as A2DP and AVRCP, and both digital optical (SPDIF) and RCA analog outputs- even the most serious audiophile will approve. Answer:	Yes, I use 3 of them, two in two different rooms and one in the car. They each get a unique Bluetooth GUID, and the way you switch depends on which phone you are using. On iOS/Apple when a Bluetooth audio out is available, you go to settings/Bluetooth and connect to the receiver you want to play to. They will all be listed as "audioengine B1", but there will be two of them there. One for each room.

Answer:	Yes. The B1 comes with an onboard DAC as part of the package. I bypass the internal DAC through a Kimber Toslink cable, in favor of my musical fidelity v90 DAC. Whether you use your DAC, the B1's, the blue tooth receiver will give you access to all of your music stored in the cloud or or locally on your smartphone or other device.
Question:	Does it have a plug in for a turn table
Answer:	I am going to throw my two cents worth in, although the others have already answered this question very well. The main differences between the B1 and cheaper devices are range and sound quality. The B1 has far better range, even for devices which do not produce a strong emitting signal. Also, the sound quality is much much better. The reason I purchased the B1 is because I have a high end stereo and the cheaper bluetooth receiver I had produced a noticeably poorer sound. I mainly use this with a Sony high definition (HD) music player (using FLAC lossless files) or sometimes with an iPod Touch (using 320 kbs MP3 files). The FLAC files especially would point out the flaws of the cheaper Bluetooth receiver, whereas the clarity of the music using the B1 is excellent.

Answer:	I think Marantz is concentrating on delivering the absolutely highest fidelity sound reproduction for the 2 channel audiophile market. I have the PM10 amplifier as well. Honestly, the soundstage created by pairing the two together is absolutely amazing. Several years ago, I invested in a multichannel setup (sony's multichannel flagship XA9000es, etc.). The Marantz 2 channel setup is amazing.

The SMSL's sub output level is variable, and raises/lowers in sync with the amps volume position, but you still have to set the master volume (for the sub) on the powered sub itself. I've got mine parked at about the 11 o'clock position, but results will vary depending on your setup. You will also need to find the crossover sweet spot on the subs low pass filter control.

Several German reviewers complained about the strong smell of the Denon; they were right, but it went away after a few days.

Answer:	This is confusing because these reviews are for a few different model disc players, one does and the rest don't. It's the S1000 that plays SACDs. "The CD-S1000 is capable of playing Super Audio CDs... it also plays CDs and CD-RW discs."

Answer:	No, you do not need a separate amplifier to play CDs. The unit will play just fine. Of course, without an outboard amp for the unit to be plugged into and that amp feeding speakers, you will get no sound output. Nevertheless, it WILL play those CDs, and do so quietly.

Answer:	This is not a "complete" unit, but merely picks sounds off the CDs and provides output to send to (not included) speakers. Did you have a CD player previously? If so you would likely make the same connections to get CD output to your speakers. Otherwise, you will need another unit which will do that, probably including an amp. Might be time to reach out for help to someone in your circle of acquaintance. Mine is plugged into an "AV Receiver", (ONKYO brand, model TX-SR502) which also receives signal from my DVD player, turntable, TV, and internet radio receiver. The unit also provides radio tuner output if I want to listen to radio. Obviously, this is a separate unit which enables one to select which input to listen to.

Answer:	Hi Maria: if you are playing a CD, that has been recorded with songs in individual tracks, say 1-17; if you are listening to a song on track 5, you can STOP that song from playing, and the CD player will stop on that track, in that particular place. If you "hit" the play button again, the CD will continue playing that song. You can also "Fast Forward" that song, and stop the player before the end of the track. At the end of the track, the player will automatically go to the next track. One thing you can not do, as you can with a DVD player, that is playing a DVD that has been recorded with music, is STOP the CD player from playing a track, and then reverse the player to a previous point on the track you have been playing - the player will automatically revert to the previous track. However, if the CD you are playing has not been recorded in tracks, but is just one continuous sequence of songs, then you would be able to reverse the player to a previous position on the CD. The CD player keeps track of the total time of the DISK being played, and displays it on the indicator on the front panel. So, if you have written down the time your favorite song starts to play, you would be able to start your favorite song playing, from a Fast Forward position, by just stopping the player, and then restarting it in the ordinary Play mode, or reverse the player to the time displayed in which your favorite song starts. Answer:	I believe that optical always gives a much cleaner sound. Coax can pic up electrical noise but optical is transmitted via light so no noise. RCA cables have to be very high quality & then you have two connections on each end. For the price you can buy one good optical & have one good connection at each end. Less cables & better sound are always the best option.

Answer:	I have both ... the "06" seems to have a slightly better high-end frequency response ... I have B&W Nautilus speakers /Adcom 545 PA and Adcom 715 pre - in my "05" player system and sounds unbelivable ... sometimes rivaling my 1/2 spd master vinyl .... my B&W CDM 7's are driven by Citation amps and a NAD pre for my "06" system ... possibly the improved > 40 Hz is due to the difference with the CDM tweeters which are very good but not Nautilus quality nor as fast FR above 45Hz ... the "06" in the Nautius speakers sounded a bit harsh to my ears ... ea. sounds spectacular in the matches I describe here ...
