Answer:	Not too much straight out of the box, you would have to add your own foam. That being said, i ran my speakers hard in these for a few days without adding foam and did not notice any downside

Answer:	Hi Len, The connecting wire between the two speakers is 6 ft. and hard-wired into the speaker housings (not open to change), and seems plenty adequate for desktop or bookshelf above a desktop use like my set-up working with my laptop when at the desk. Guess I could use them from anywhere nearby via my Apple Airport, but I'm happy with the jack plugged into the laptop. Love the sound! :-) Jerry

Answer:	yes as long as the switch is still turned on.
Question:	Are they battery powered and if so what kind
Answer:	I leave the power button "on" and the units will go into standby (white power light off) if unused for a period of time, but I would not worry about any power use during standby, light on or off, as they really don't draw much power or have any "moving" parts to wear out. Great little units with wonderful sound!
Question:	do they come with the mounting bracket
Answer:	The more expensive version $200 does have bluetooth. The cheaper version at $140 does not have bluetooth. The direct connect has better sound quality; bluetooth connectivity appeared to have degraded fidelity.
