Question:	Why are there two sets of wire inputs on the back of the speaker

Answer:	The 2 sets of speaker 5 way binding posts are for bi-wires or bi amps if you remove the bridges so you can by-pass the speaker cross-over. It's a waste of time and money since you will need an external cross-over. I wouldn't bother with it at this price point. They are as good as you can get for the price.
Question:	Why do these have a set of two connections at the back? Is it for two audio sources
Answer:	Oh my gosh please disregard any of the stupid people who said its benefits are debatable, or that it helps midrange. Those people shouldn’t answer questions about things they obviously know nothing about. I’m reporting those answers as not only wrong but intentionally ignorant. The truth is most people have their front 2 mains wired to the receiver. Today’s receivers are 7.1 and more 9.2.4 or 11.2.whatever. However most users choose not to wire speakers to the extra surround and Atmos channels. 5.1 being fine. So in addition to wiring the entire speaker to just the front Left and Right, you can remove the metal connecting both sets of posts. Leave the original speakers wires. Now go into your receivers set up menu and go to speaker set up. Most receivers have a selector for if you’re using the front-above speaker option. If not, now you can run a 2nd speaker wire to both speaker and connect to the 2 unused posts. The immediate benefit is that instead of only 2 of the amp’s 100w channels pushing the whole Left and Right, you now have 4 of the amp’s 100w channels pushing your speakers. Each speaker gets 200w.
Question:	Is there a "practical"reason for these speakers to have so many individual speakers inside them
Answer:	Yes. Oversimplifying but hopefully still useful: There's an ugly trade-off between bass quantity and quality. Larger drivers have more surface area (volume really, as a speaker is effectively an irregularly-shaped piston for pushing and pulling air). More surface area means more bass. But it also means more inertia and typically sloppy or booming (mid-)bass lacking in detail or transient response ("edges"). Smaller drivers respond faster and create tighter, punchier, more accurate (mid-)bass because it can respond faster, but less low bass due to the reduced surface area. Using multiple smaller drivers is an attempt to retain the tight and accurate mid-bass but also team the drivers up to move enough air to extend the bass down low. It's an attempt to keep the best attributes of both approaches. However, real bass-heads might still want a little more low bass. Fortunately, really low bass (say 20-60 Hz) isn't particularly critical and you can get away with a massive woofer like 12" or even 15". For this, a subwoofer is perfect. If you add a subwoofer to a speaker like this, be sure to cross it over well below 100 Hz, as you paid for bass accuracy and you wouldn't want to degrade it by too much overlap. Think of the subwoofer as turning your 3 way speakers into 4 way speakers. You don't want much overlap. As with any free audio advice, take nobody's word for anything and experiment for yourself. Every room and every ear is different, so I might be all wet. That said, there' s the rationale, in a nutshell.

Question:	Whats the ideal screws to use to hang on a concrete wall
Answer:	I didn’t wall mount my speaker it’s sitting in a home entertainment cabinet. To wall mount in concrete you will need to drill holes in the concrete using a masonry drill bit the recommended size for the concrete wall anchors you will be using, you will put the screws into the anchors. Make sure the head of the screw will fit through the mounting hole on back of speaker. Mounting hardware kits (screws, anchors and drill bits ) are available at your Local hardware store. Of course you will need a drill, screwdriver and hammer (to use in inserting the wall anchor)

Answer:	I think completely compatible. I use it for a center speaker. It is really nice.

Answer:	90% of the voices are coming out of the center channel, you should not notice a difference, but personally, I would stay with Martin Logan's center channel and stick with their quality.
Question:	Every speaker brand strives to be neutral, so why should there be tonal mismatches? Why must I buy a center of the same brand
Answer:	In my experience most speakers have their own tonal quality however that does not mean speakers from different manufacturers or even different models by the same manufacturer will not sound good together. I use my Polk S35 center channel speaker with four Bose 301 series speakers and a Polk PSW505 subwoofer to make up my home theater system. They sound great together and much better than it did with my original Bose center channel.

Answer:	The Sony str-dn1080 receiver says 100 watts per channel at 6 ohms, the Polks are 8 ohm speakers. Mine are used as the front speakers on a Denon 7.2 and the sound great for home theater.

Answer:	It would really be a matter of preference. If you listen to music recorded in stereo you may find adding a sound field (5.0 or 3.1 or 5.1) changes the sound in ways you don't like. I'm using the Polk TSi500s front, CS20 center, PSW505 sub, and some other older speakers in a 7.1 theater configuration powered by a Yamaha RX-A860. Movies now come alive with clear dialog and rocking sound effects in a way they never did with my old (15 year) 5.1 system

Answer:	I know this is an old question, but I think what I have to say about this is important since I see this question a lot. With Canon you can not use EF-S lenses on anything but the the crop sensor cameras. This is all the Rebel series (T6, T7i), the midrange systems (77D, 80D), and the 7D. The 6D, along with the 5D and 1D, are full frame cameras and can only mount EF lenses. To be even more confusing, the cameras that can mount EF-S lenses can also mount EF lenses too, but all have a crop factor of 1.6x. This is all due to the design of the EF-S lenses. They have a small amount of protrusion from the rear of the camera, which would interfere with the mirror inside the camera. Even if this lens could be mounted on a full frame, it is not really the same as a 24mm full frame lens. This is due to the lens elements being smaller, as it is only designed to work on a smaller format camera. So you would have to crop down your image if it were possible to mount it on a full frame, to eliminate the heavy and unrecoverable vignetting around the outside of the image. It would look like a 40mm lens at that point. So to get the same effect, you can use the EF 40mm F2.8 STM instead. On a full frame camera it will have the same framing, the same low light performance, and same quiet focusing, but for 180 instead of 150. If what you need is a 24mm lens, well, Canon only has a couple and both are quite old, and much more expensive. Sigma has some impressive primes in the Art series, but they are pretty expensive too. There is also the Rokinon 24mm with AF that was jsut released, but I am not sure if it is a crop lens or not.

Answer:	I’m just adding to what TwistedPretzel has already said…For what you have described in your comment, this would be a pretty good lens. I think of it as the complement to the EF 50mm F1.8 STM on APS-C cameras. They both share some of the same advantages (especially price to value ratio), but are for different uses. The 50mm is more for filling the frame with a portrait, and then slicing the DOF thin to get that coveted bokeh effect. The 24mm is more for getting more into the frame without going full wide, while also being pretty sharp. It does experience very mild distortion around the fringes of the frame, nothing that will ruin your shots of your children. It does not, however, have the kind of shrinking effect that ultra-wide angle lenses have, where everything looks like it is really far from you unless you are standing right on top of it. For me, where the 50mm is about filling the frame and making the subject the most important thing in the photo, the 24mm is more about creating a scene around the subject(s), without losing sight of what is important in the photo. With some practice, they both can create some very interesting shots.A lens you can look into, if you want one lens that can do what both these can, is the Tamron 17-50mm F2.8 XR Di II. It is a little more than the 50mm and 24mm combined (300 USD v 275), but can do the work of both lenses. I think the primes are a little sharper, but the Tamron isn’t bad. I see your question is 2 years old now; I just wanted to put this info out there for anyone else that it might benefit. I hope whatever you went with worked for you.

Answer:	I have both lenses and I can say that it all depends. The 10-18mm lens is not as sharp but is much more wide angle than the 24mm prime lens. However the 24mm prime lens has much narrower depth of field. I use both for video mostly. The 10-18mm is my vlogging lens for when I need to get my whole face in the shot and the 24mm is my close up and cinematic lens. For photography, the 10-18mm is good for public places where a wide shot is desired while the 24mm is better for more close up and sometimes portrait shots. I hope this helps!

Always buy an amplifier that puts out as many watts as you can afford and then add another 100 watts for good measure. Too much power can never damage your speakers. It will only make them sound WAY better. Now, on the other hand, trying to drive these speakers with a 20 watt amp and you will make both of them very expensive conversation topics. Yes..you will absolutely ruin your speakers by over driving your amplifier. Too much power? IMO ,there's no such thing.

Answer:	I have them as desktop speakers because I also watch movies with them. They are big though. I swtiched from Klipsch R41m and these are much larger. To say they are too powerful for desktop though?? Yeah right lol. I have a tube amp pushing about 12 watts to each (if you don't know tube amps then it may sound like nothing but i can't even turn the amp up halfway). I also have a powered sub (energy ESW 8inch approx 240 watts) which balances out things well. The S10 is probably better for my needs since they have the same tweeter but I got a deal on these.
Question:	Would the Polk S15's make good front mains in home theater setup mainly for movies
Answer:	S15s would be great for most rooms as front speakers. They are fairly large and have great tweeters. I would only recommend that you go with a larger driver (or set of drivers) if you room was larger than say 20x20 and you were not using an active sub woofer. I'm currently using a combination of S15s and S10s as surround speakers (S60 for front L and R....S35 for center).

Answer:	It's all a matter of tastes. I've owned Polk speakers. In this situation, I'm sure you'll get more mid range with the Polk's because you'll have more speakers, if that's your thing. I prefer the Klipsch because they are crisper, cleaner, a bit more live like sounding. The Polk's are a bit more subdued, a bit more even sounding. The Klipsch have plenty of bass and plenty of horn, which is where that "live" sound comes from. They are also a bit more efficient. I don't think you can go wrong with either choice. FYI..........I have my speakers hooked up to an older Sony receiver with 80 watts pc. Music is all that I use them for. No experience with home theater.
