Answer:	I have actually had some issues with intermittent audio with my headset plugged into the controller. Still trying to figure out how to fix this as it works fine otherwise.

Answer:	Dualshock controllers use Bluetooth v2.1 so while I can't find any information for what this thing uses, I don't see why they'd bother to make anything more up-to-date. I'm guessing the initial idea was to make money by forcing people to buy these stupid little things back when they cost $15. But let's get at the real question: Why don't they make more of these at reasonable prices? Well, they can't be bothered. Allow me to elaborate: Basically PSNow is a gym membership. Gyms sign you up for a monthly contract knowing 80% of the people who do will only go 3 times and then stop, but still get charged every month. Sony keeps the service available so people will sign up and say it's good initially. Once they get bored of it, some cancel, but others neglectfully don't bother or forget, and end up paying every month for something they don't use, kind of like a gym membership. The money they make off people who neglect their bank accounts and credit cards is just enough to keep the servers running, but not enough to bother supporting any extra features, such as using devices other than their own consoles. They just can't be bothered. They can't be bothered to change the software to allow your computer's own (probably more robust) bluetooth work with PSNow. They can't be bothered to continue to produce a stupid little USB dongle that costs pennies to make. BUT HEY, that's just a theory.
Question:	Why would someone need this? My ps4 controller connects just fine via bluetooth
Answer:	The older dualshock4 controllers probably do connect through onboard Bluetooth without a problem. They've updated the controller firmware however, to disable that ability, unless you're connecting to an actual PlayStation or Sony tv. There's a driver out there (ds4drv) that may allow normal connection with onboard Bluetooth to other devices ( such as a raspberry pi) but it's a little complicated and doesn't always work so great without messing other things up. So, there's this thing. Sony doesn't like to share. That's a historical fact.
Question:	Will this work with games I run on Steam
Answer:	This is a piece of junk. It was available at my local frys so I cancelled my order on Amazon and bought there. The dongle acts as if you just plugged the controller into the USB. It works well with the PC Remote Play but could not play any of my steam games, even games that have native Dualshock 4 support (such as Final Fantasy XIV, my L3 was share, R3 was options, Circle was X) Needless to say, I was very excited for this but it looks like I'm using DS4Windows instead.

This model has cool oval ear cups and an improved mic. I currently have a Razer Kraken 7.1 v1 and 7.1 v2. Gave the v1 to my wife and bought the new Razer Kraken 2019 for her to replace it. About 1 year ago I bought the Razer Kraken Tournament Edition with THX and returned it. The sound and the mic was horrible. The Razer Kracken 2019 uses this free software to simulate 7.1 surround https://www.razer.com/7.1-surround-sound . I should get my wife's new pair today.

Question:	Can anyone please recommend a usb adapter for this to plug into a PC? Thanks
Answer:	A small, cheap usb DAC adapter probably won't work well for these. They need a bit of power to drive them properly. Power supplied solely from a PC USB port probably won't be enough (500mA max for USB 2.0 and 900mA max for USB 3.0). You will get much better results from an external audio interface and/or a headphone amp.
Question:	comfort
Answer:	They are very comfortable for the first hour or so. I sometimes wear my glasses rather than my contact lenses while using these headphones, and have found that with glasses the comfortable period is much shorter due to pressure on the wire earpieces. The The coiled cable is fairly long, and if you move around in a chair while using these with a laptop, the cable will eventually snare you. The cable connects to the left earphone, and if your earphone connector is on the right side of your computer, receiver, TV or whatever, that means the cable has to be draped across the front of your body. You could reverse the phones on your head, but that would put the left channel into your right ear and vice versa. There's probably a way to reverse channels to correct this.
Question:	How is noise leakage out of these headphones? I am interested in using them for vocal recording so mix leaking out is a no-no
Answer:	Even with loud volumes, the leakage is generally non-existent. The volume needs to be uncomfortably loud for me to start hearing a very slight sound leak.
Question:	Are these a good choice for listening to music at home? I work from home, and I need music to concentrate
Answer:	I love these headphones for listening to music as well as TV. I had a pair of MDR-V6 phones I bought from Tower Records in Nashville years and years ago in the early 90s that just died after almost 30 years of service, and these are very very similar. These don't have quite the bass that the V6s did, and the highs are a little brighter, but that will be in my best interest if they last me 20+ years like the V6s did! There's a reason the MDR7506s became an industry standard soon after they were released by Sony in 1991 and it's not because they're bad to listen to. If you want to listen to your music the way the engineers and artists probably heard it in production, grab a pair of these. Hit YouTube and watch the in-studio recordings of Sting's Ten Summoner's Tales songs and look at the headphones everybody is wearing. Everybody. Mix of both MDR-V6 and MDR7506, the MDR-V6s having been released six years earlier in 1986. All the way up to current times like the video for "Times Like These" with Dave Grohl, Taylor Hawkins, Ellie Goulding and all those other artists that was released a few weeks ago had a couple of people wearing them. That's longevity. I found that they are more comfortable with the aftermarket lambskin leather earpads that you can find for around $20. They aren't super easy to put on, but are very comfortable. I love the headphones for listening to music as well as television when I don't want to keep people up at night.

Question:	How is the bass to use without subwoofer
Answer:	The SSCS5 has respectable bass response for a bookshelf, down to 50 Hz or so, but I would highly recommend you pair with a decent subwoofer for best results. I use the SSCS5 in a 2.1 setup in our master bedroom and they absolutely slay for movies and music! The imaging and soundstage is spectacular. Really no need for a full surround setup if space is limited or you don’t want to monkey around with wiring rear speakers. However, pairing these with a good subwoofer makes a world of difference in the impact you will experience for movies. If you listen to a lot of electronic music, a good sub is a must.
