Question:	Can this be used to amplify the sound coming from microphones in an auditorium (I will be using headphones
Answer:	I very much doubt it. This is a "line level" amplifier. Line level voltage is much higher than the voltage coming from a microphone. This amp is not designed to amplify a microphone.
Question:	Can i sub the power supply for a 12vdc usb cable? would usb sufficiently power this unit
Answer:	USB ports supply 5V, not 12V, so, no, you can't power this thing with a USB cable.
Question:	could this device be bridged like a car amp
Answer:	If you mean could you listen to headphones in the car with this, it is possible if you are a good technician or if your car unit has a “pre” or “pre-amp” output. Trouble is the device has a wal-wart that wants alternating current and concerts it to direct current but you could look around for a CLA with the proper output voltage and tip. So with a pre-amp output, the proper cabling, (rca l/r to 1/4” stereo or trs) and the appropriate power supply this will power headphones in your vehicle. CAUTION: Using headphones while driving is illegal in many jurisdictions- check your state or local traffic codes. This will not drive speakers well by the way... the output power is too low. Good Luck!!
Question:	Are the individual outputs amplified beyond normal "line-level" voltages? In other words, if the input is at max volume, will the output be louder
Answer:	The amplifier circuit has a maximum voltage gain of 10 (20dB). However, the actual gain you can get will depend on the impedance of the headset you plug into any given channel. The design calls for a 47 Ohm output resistor for each channel, but the two I received were manufactured with 470 Ohm resistors installed, so the output impedance was ten times what it was supposed to be. People getting units assembled with this error will see far lower gain than they should. Beware!

Answer:	110v. The radio reception is kind of weak and the mocrophone doesn't function any more.

Answer:	This speaker has one 3.5mm line input.... BUT I returned mine because of a terrible hum. BTW, there is no microphone input! It is also very small in size, not what I expected. The only good feature is that you can plug in a SD card or Flash USB Drive that contains MP3 files and it will play those files.

Perhaps you received a defective unit. If it shows no power, check the basics first, that you didn’t trip a circuit breaker and that your outlet has power. If it does, again, I suggest to contact Pyle customer service.

I have used it to have one volume knob for 2nd floor, one for 1st floor, 1 for pair of outside speakers, and still 3 more outputs to wire up a pair of speakers to all 3.

Answer:	This is not an amplifier, it is a pre-amplifier which means that you need a separate amplifier in order to drive speakers.
Question:	The description says two (02) mono rca outputs for subwoofers. where are they
Answer:	You're right that the description says that there are 2 mono outputs for subwoofers but I think that is an error. The picture that there is of the back of the unit is correct, as is the labeling that accompanies the picture.
Question:	can you use rca in and bluetooth out
Answer:	No. The Bluetooth feature is only for receiving from a Bluetooth device as a source.
Question:	Can someone confirm that the remote control can in fact control the master volume on the preamp unit
Answer:	Neither of the other two answers are correct! Here’s the deal. This device has an analog knob with aux 1, aux 2, aux 3, and another multi-function input that includes the radio, bluetooth, and the media card stuff. The volume only works on some of the inputs. Bluetooth, radio, and the media card are routed through the digital, remote controllable volume control. The switch between Aux 1, aux 2, aux 3, and the multi-function input is routed through the master analog volume control, which is controlled by an analog knob that is not remote controllable. I had hoped that this device would offer remote control of the analog RCA inputs, but it does not.

Not sure why the tech stated its not bridgeable or needs to be wired correctly because bridgeable has nothing to do when running a powered sub through the sub pre rca output and subs dont have wires not the f12 at least and if you have a pre out then you just use rca cables.

Answer:	I am sure I have responded to a question about this receiver. I said that the only problem with it was the skimpy manual that came with it. When I contacted Pyle it apparently was no longer made. It has lots of power and luckily my old Yamaha speakers can handle it. Even at low decibels you get great sound. At the price 2 years ago you couldn't beat it. Trust me , you must have speakers to handle this product. The tuner is also excelent.

Answer:	I have 8 speakers in the cafateria, three in the hallway on sencond floor and five in the classrooms on 2nd floor of a Sunday School building connected to the 70V and common. The power setting used was 2 Ohms on the speakers. I than added 3 speakers at a distance of 150 feet (Connecting the sanctuary of the church to Sunday School) in parallel with setting at 4 ohms. They all work good. Tested them on full load for about 30 minutes with output from my iphone (Youtube download)to the auxiliary input of the amp. Performance was good for a Church and a Sunday School building. Good product for the price. We plan to use them occasionally and did not want to spend extra money. If your requirements are critical, I will suggest to get an extra amplifier and let it sit as a backup..Good Luck.

Answer:	Most amplifiers with a 1 volt signal coming in the input will max out around 50 % on the volume control. After the amp is maxed, the sound will be distorted. Known as clipping. The extra control on your volume is fir a weaker signal in the input.
