Question:	Does the marantz sr5015 draw a mute icon on the screen when you turn on muting. and if it does, can it be disabled
Answer:	No, the MUTE icon on the TV cannot be disabled when the MUTE option is enabled. You can turn down the volume all the way to "mute" the audio and then you will not see the MUTE icon on the TV.

Question:	If u run auro-3d & atmos setup (w/ 15 total speakers, only 13 @ once + 2 powered subs), do u need 3 mm8077 or 2 mm8077 & 1 mm7025(less watts/channel
Answer:	The AV8805 is a preamp/processor and needs to be hooked up to power amplifiers to power the speakers. I have 250 watt amplifies for all channels, which is more power than most people would have. In any case, I have always run 12 guage wire to my speakers. I would add, this is my opinion, not to get caught up in the "special" wire scams. These "special" wires will cost you a lot of money. You can buy 12 guage lamp cord on line and it is adequate and affordable. There are some precautions you will need to take if you have long speaker runs, but up to 50 feet or so there is not much to worry about unless you live near a radio station. Then you might also need to shield your wires. Rick
Question:	Does it decode 5.1 dsd or just 2 channel dsd
Answer:	Hello, That depends on the input method. Via USB or Media Server the unit can only read 2 channel DSD. Via HDMI, the unit can read up to 5.1 for DSD but will convert the signal to PCM unless the AV is in Direct or Pure Direct modes. When in Direct or Pure Direct, the AV will display "DSD Direct" and will bypass any internal processing. Thanks, Marantz North America

Answer:	Yes, the 2018 models use TuneIn for internet radio as well as standard AM/FM Tuners.
Question:	This is a pre-amp, so, it will be well combined/connected to the denon avr-x8500h 13.2-ch for example
Answer:	Why would you do that the Denon x8500h is a pre/pro/amp all built into one, it would work but total waste, this will do the pre/pro better than the x8500h and for the price of the x8500h you can get one or two awesome dedicated amplifiers with isolated sound paths and connect to this via XLR it would be silly to use the Denon with this, take the money and spend it on the best Amp for the same price and you will be much happier as your system will sound much better. The Denon, while a great avr isn't as good as a dedicated Amp paired with this dedicated pre/pro that is for sure. It has everything packed into one unit, all the stuff this does plus Amp functionality, dedicated Amp will have less interference and noise and higher quality components dedicated to produce clean power to the speakers.

Answer:	My Sony PS-LX250H works very nicely with this receiver. There is no phono input. So I plugged the red and white RCA's into the SAT/CATV input jack.

You pair a sound source device (phone, tablet, laptop,TV) to the subwoofer together with speakers to play sound from. Answer:	Best if you go to the Marantz website, do a search for the SR7002, and download the manual. The manual is there, available.
Question:	Apple TV does not work when connected to HDMI ports on Marantz. Is there any fix for this
Answer:	This has been working fine for me for almost 3 years now. I purchased the SR7002 in August of 2010 and the Apple TV is about as old, it's the small black version. It's either the port on the Marantz, the cable or the ATV. You'll need to troubleshoot.
Question:	What is the problem when the sound goes in and out
Answer:	If you're listening to something from a machine such as a cable box, dvd/bd player then it could be a loose or bad cable. If that's the case, switch the cable out with another and see if the problem still exists. Could also be the inputs on the machine side or the receiver side. Again, switch things around. Process of elimination. If the problem still exists after all that you could have a bad machine and you'll have to rule out which one, either the external machine or the receiver. Hook the external machine into another sound producing device, even if it's a tv. If no problem found you could have a bad receiver.
