Answer:	Good news.. This receiver, with the latest firmware, can output a 4K/120Hz signal Vincent Teoh is a world class engineer and expert on television/video equipment. (HDTVTest on Youtube) On Nov 21, 2020 he released a 10 minute video featuring the Denon AVR-X2700H. Title: "Is the HDMI Cable included with Sony PS5 Really HDMI 2.1?" In the video he mentions getting the firmware update in order to test the cable boxed with a PS5. (giving the ability to do 4K/120Hz!) With the update, a proper TV, and the PS5, he fires up "Devil May Cry" on a PS5 hooked up to the Denon AVR-X2700H. His test software "jumps" from the menu display to much the much higher 4K/119.92Hz. He then proceeds to show mathematically that 4K/120Hz uses 32Gbps at the most. Worried about what HDMI 2.1 cable to use? Try testing it.. The 2020 Denon AVR-X2700H has a hidden feature called "Cable Test". Hook up an HDMI cable from the single 8K input HDMI port on the back directly to the eARC output HDMI port next door. (this is something you would never do...). The front of display shows "Cable Test". Vincent presses what appears to be the center button under the display. The receiver shows the PS5 out of the box cable will work ( TEST PASS-8K(40Gbps) (This is more than the 32Gbps needed for 4K/120Hz.) Beware if you use a longer cable or a cable not labeled "Ultra High Speed HDMI Cable" it may now be able to perform at this level.

Question:	Why are you seeing reviews for the avr x3500 and its the avr x3600 being advertised
Answer:	Like others have mentioned, it does support 4k hdr. I just set it up with my ps5, but initially it was only doing 4k with no hdr or 1080p with hdr. The process for enabling 4k with hdr is outlined in the operating handbook. I had to press "Amp menu" then "hdmi" then "sig. fmt." then "Game", then select "enhanced". ("Game" is specific to the hdmi port my ps5 is plugged into, I guess individual ports could have their own settings?)
Question:	Do I have to use a tv/montor to set this receiver up? I want to use a turntable and speckers only
Answer:	I would think if you select "TV" as your input for the receiver, the receiver is expecting audio via the HDMI-ARC channel from your TV. Is this how you have it setup?
Question:	Can I run 4 zones of audio with a 5.1 surround and an external amp with this receiver? I.e main zone and 3 other zones
Answer:	I bought the 590, appx half the time, when I turn the tv on, the receiver is linked, it is in mute mode. The only way to correct it is to turn everything off. Restart, sometimes more than once. Very annoying.

Answer:	Yes. My “renewed” came with remote, microphone and cardboard stand ( that all looked brand new and unused). although I used a tripod to position and hold the mic.
Question:	Why the renewed add show 75 wats/ chanel and not the 165 wats/chanel from the regular add
Answer:	It has to do with the way it’s measured. Both are exactly the same watts per channel. The basic way it was explained to me is the the 165 measurement is with 1 channel driven and the 75 is with 2 channels driven. The latter is more of an honest and practical measurement. You can go to Crutchfield’s website and they can explain it better.

Answer:	I have the 750. Bought it refurbished. Still had 1 year warranty.
Question:	What is the difference between this unit (avr-s750h) and the avr-x2500h
Answer:	Avr-s750h supports HDCP 2.3 version but x2500h doesn't support it and more old model. For the power and channel number to support the output, x2500h is better. In my opinion, if you want to buy a new ps-5 game console in 2020, s750h is better. But if you got some of old 4K UHD devices already, x2500h would be good choice.

Question:	Do you need a tv to set up pandora or a wireless connection
Answer:	I was wondering too! The one I am replacing was bought from Amazon Jan. 2015. It stated Poland on the Glass, but nothing on the plastic. Now they all seem to state Portugal on the glass portion. I like the BODUM embossed plastic frame, but it is an older model with the flat top and D handle. Even Bodum does updates.

Answer:	Beaker is glass. The handle and the part that the beaker fits into is plastic.
Question:	I plug in an antenna that goes to my outside wireless speakers in the headphone jack, on some receivers this turns off my inside connected speakers
Answer:	I had the other Brazil version. I was able to remove the beaker. VERY CAREFUL, it is in there tight. SOAP and warm water, you should get some movement from it. I wouldn't recommend removing the beaker unless you really have to clean it. If you don't feel comfortable removing the beaker, then I wouldn't.
Question:	How many watts per channel for 8ohm speakers if only using front two , center speaker with sub woofer and no surround sound
Answer:	It is sad, isn't it, that some misguided bean counter at Bodun decided to earn a bonus by replacing a sturdy, metal piece (like my 30 year old Bodun has) with that ridiculous piece of plastic; saving, what? Two cents worth? Well, that was mine. I will take another commenter's advice and be gentle. It is informative that the elaborate pictures in the description do not show this particular piece; apparently they know.

Question:	Could the rear surround speakers be wireless while the rest are wired, or do they have to be wired also
Answer:	I don't think it will work in a smart card slot, it is for an expansion slot.
Question:	Do all 6 of the hdmi inputs support 8k upsacling? specs appear to say they do, but magazine review i read said only the dedicated 8k port does

Answer:	No, the EC1394B2 connects to an ExpressCard slot and uses the PCI-Express bus in your computer so it is not compatible with USB-ExpressCard adapters. Matt, StarTech.com Support
Question:	Can i run 7.2.4 with an amp
Answer:	I'm late to the party, but this seems relevant. The Presonus StudioLive AI 32.4.2 now has dual 1394b/FireWire 800 ports. I'm buying this adapter to connect my 5 year old Lenovo W540 laptop to this mixer.
