Answer:	I believe that if you hook the yellow cables to video in back of the machine and then plug into the yellow plug behind the TV it should work as a video.

If left unconnected the audio will just play through this unit’s speakers.

While we haven't tested the DKW-8U with audio capture through mobile phone, it could be possible to use a 1/4" audio patch cable (supplied with wireless system) and connect it through a TRS-to-TRRS audio adapter cable which will convert the signal for use with your phone. Answer:	It plays all CD's, however for Karaoke you will want to purchase CD+G discs. These are special for Karaoke machines. The Frozen CD you refer to is just one of many CD+G discs that they make for kids (and adults)!

Answer:	yes, but you can't read the words. it must be connected to the tv if you want to read along. be warned though, this is not very good quality. we sent back our first because the volume control knob didn't work, and are having the same problem with the 2nd machine. we are past the 30 day return so are stuck with it

Answer:	The Singing Machine comes with s-video and audio cables that you can attach to your Television inputs or attach the audio cables to your audio system inputs to listen to external speakers. To attach an iPhone to the machine you will need to purchase an Apple iPhone TTY adapter ($19.00 from Apple online store or Mac Superstore), and a 3.5mm male to male audio cable. I purchased a 6 ft cable from our local Radio Shack, or go online to www.cablestogo.com ($4.99). You plug the 3.5mm cable to your Apple iPhone TTY adapter, then plug the adapter to the microphone input on the front of the machine. The other end of the 3.5mm cable plugs into your iPhone headphone jack.

Question:	If there is No audio output from the microphone in the 5.1 channel setting how do I get voice in “surround sound” Use a 7.1 channel amp
Answer:	The player is not anywhere near that suffisticated. Your amplifier likely can take stereo and run it through Dolby prologic II X music. The dolby algorithym will still want to put voices front and center. To get voice and a greater chance of feedback out of the of the other channels, you will need to set the stereo width to max and surround output to a high level. The music will be oddly clinical and over exagerated. There is a reason why there are very few professional multi-channel recordings.

Answer:	Yes, setting it up to record. Great item, cat go wrong getting this item.

Answer:	If your TV has HDMI or AV jack, it usually can be connected to TVs.
Question:	Does accommodate closed captioning
Answer:	You can get Closed Caption by going through the RCA cables only, and then selecting CC on your TV remote. HMDI does not support Closed Caption. I have a Blu-Ray player that has both RCA (white, red, yellow cables) and HDMI output. My TV has both RCA and HDMI inputs, but I had to temporarily disconnect the HDMI cable from the TV so the it would recognize the RCA cable, thus giving me the Closed Caption. Closed Caption is not the same as subtitles.

Troubleshooting steps: -Check the types of discs being played are either CD+G or DVD based discs. Super CD+Gs (SCD+G), or made-to-order discs are not compatible. -Check the condition of the discs being played. Deeply scratched or poorly maintained discs will have trouble reading, if at all. -Ensure the connections from the player to the display/monitor are secure and that the cables being used are not defective. -Do not push laterally on the disc tray when it is fully ejected. -If for some reason customers continue to have problems playing their CD+G karaoke discs then they are advised to call our Tech Support at 800-678-5348 for continued assistance.
