Answer:	Yes it is. I have a 2.1 stereo in my house. I've been powering a JBL W12 GTi MKII with my xli 3500 for years. Of course the amp is in my house and not in a car.

Answer:	The output of the XLI 800 @ 8 ohms is 200 W per channel x 2 channels=400W. In my opinion this model is not the proper size for 4 100 watt speakers. Upgrading to the 1500, would be a better match.

Question:	Does the cooling fan run all the time or just when pushed hard
Answer:	Kurtis is correct. You will never hear this fan run unless you mute everything, furnace turns off, you silence all clocks and don't have a mini fridge running. Without the blue lights, you only know it's on if the attached speakers play. Pushed it to near clipping just to see and not a peep from the fans.

Answer:	Yes, but you have to be careful at what Impedence (Ohm) load the speakers are going to be driven. With this amp to get a max of 500w RMS bridged with a 4 ohm load. With an 8ohm load. Which afe typically mostly used in homes because the require less amplifier power to drive the speaker. This amp puts out 360w RMS with the 8 ohm load. Again this is bridged and having output to one sub. This is a stereo amp that can bridged to increase power through one channel. Hope this helps

Answer:	I am using this amp to power my rear surround speakers with my Marantz SR7010 used in a 9.1.2 configuration. I run Front Wide speakers in this setup. I like the amp just fine. I modified mine by adding a second cooling fan as one of the reviews on the Monoprice site suggested. I ended up using all the parts that the reviewer did including the T.B.815 fans. The only thing I did differently was that I fabricated a second fan mounting bracket that bolts into the pre-drilled mounting holes on the other side of the amp instead of zip ties used in Monoprice review. This amp was obviously designed with 2 fans in mind. The reason that I made this modification is that I considered the stock fan, although not real loud, to be a little too loud for home theater use. You will have to make that decision for yourself. The amp runs very cool, although I believe it also would have with the stock (Higher Speed) fan, just a bit louder. Make sure that you find and read that Monoprice review. I'm not at all sorry that I bought this amp. I knew, from reading reviews, that it was very possible that I MIGHT consider the fan too loud. Answer:	This unit has four 1/4 inch mono/stereo inputs and one 1/4 inch stereo output. It does NOT have phantom power. There is a pre-amp in the unit that will power a headset or connect to an external amplifier. If your mics have 1/4 inch plugs, your set-up should work OK without additional equipment. If your mics have three-prong plugs, you might want to find a mixer that does have phantom power on at least two of the inputs (but not all). That would accommodate both instrument and vocal without more equipment or connections (which is why there are contrary remarks). Hope this helps.

Answer:	I don't know about the minimum wattage but I know it maxes out at 250 watts (RMS value) when using the BRIDGE connection which has an output impedance of 4 ohms. Obviously you just need to make sure your main power/volume knob is turned up enough to get your 50 watt minimum. If you run the single channels they have an output impedance of 8 ohms.

Answer:	There is no acupuncture at all. The rolling element you place your feet on have some knobs that offer a dull type of pressure on your feet - not very effective. But it heats nicely. I wouldn't buy it for the massaging element - not effective at all.

Question:	How’s the performance in movies? How’s the dynamics
Answer:	This amp is okay. I really prefer my Outlaw Audio Model 5000 - cleaner with better dynamics. Because one channel on the OSD has failed, it has been relegated to running my 4 Atmos channels. This unit looks great, but I think they put more money into the cosmetics and less money into quality of components. I had a hum from this unit and tried the XLR inputs - thinking this was one perk the Outlaw didn't have - the XLRs did nothing. Turns out they aren't balanced inputs, just connectors put on the back for marketing and connectivity.
Question:	Trigger connection not on my denon av receiver, so how will I connect this to my receiver

Answer:	The rating when all 5 channels are driven is 125 Watts at 8 ohms and 180 watts driven at 4 ohms. If you connect channels 1, 3, and 5 it is 200 watts at 8 ohms 250 Watts at 4 ohms. Four Channels 1, 2, 4, and 5 would be 160 Watts at 8 ohms and 220 Watts at 4 ohms. Note: If your Receiver has a Balance Differential connection so you can connect the Receiver and Amplifier using Balanced XLR cables you will also gain an additional 6 to 10dB increase. Answer:	The power plug provided is a 3 prong plug, not sure if the ground is utilized or not. I am from Singapore, so i had to buy an additional step up voltage converter locally to power up the XA5180. The voltage converter also comes with a 3 prong plug.

Answer:	I'm not the seller. However, it does need a preamp to work with a magnetic phono cartridge.

Answer:	This is not an amplifier, it is a pre-amplifier which means that you need a separate amplifier in order to drive speakers.
Question:	The description says two (02) mono rca outputs for subwoofers. where are they
Answer:	You're right that the description says that there are 2 mono outputs for subwoofers but I think that is an error. The picture that there is of the back of the unit is correct, as is the labeling that accompanies the picture.
Question:	can you use rca in and bluetooth out
Answer:	No. The Bluetooth feature is only for receiving from a Bluetooth device as a source.
Question:	Can someone confirm that the remote control can in fact control the master volume on the preamp unit
Answer:	Neither of the other two answers are correct! Here’s the deal. This device has an analog knob with aux 1, aux 2, aux 3, and another multi-function input that includes the radio, bluetooth, and the media card stuff. The volume only works on some of the inputs. Bluetooth, radio, and the media card are routed through the digital, remote controllable volume control. The switch between Aux 1, aux 2, aux 3, and the multi-function input is routed through the master analog volume control, which is controlled by an analog knob that is not remote controllable. I had hoped that this device would offer remote control of the analog RCA inputs, but it does not.
