Answer:	I don't believe so. If I recall correctly it would have to do with power output I think (could be wrong though). It works pretty good for cb though.

Answer:	The confusion here may be because there are two separate players listed on Amazon. One is simply the UBD-205. This one will only play Zone A/Region 1 & 2 discs. The other is listed as "...Region/Zone Free." That one includes the decoding mechanism to play worldwide discs Zone A-C and Region 0-9 via an included code. For my money though, you're better off buying the regular player, updating fully, then buying the Zone Free mod. Why? I paid $2000 extra for the Zone Free player, it updated right away, then told me that it wasn't ZF anymore. It formats the player's software when it updates! But if you get the mod, it's hardwired in.

Answer:	1st question: Yes, change of volume displays briefly on the player when you adjust the volume on the remote control. 2nd question: Yes and No. I first used the OPPO as both CD player and pre-amp. I was impressed by its clarity and detail of the sound. However, a few days later I found the sound clear, clean but "lean". I added in a pre-amp between my tube power-amp and the OPPO and the sound improved a lot. Sound becomes fuller, warmer and more balanced. Hope it helps.

Question:	Hi, is it possible to use it with powered speakers
Answer:	One configuration could be to drive a pair of speakers such as the front channel. I have used a power amp to drive a second pair of front speakers, completely independent of the existing pair; if you do this, be ready to have the equalizer on your lap, every 1db adjustment can throw off the entire audio sound-stage although, it is fun to establish working settings, it is just time consuming.
