Answer:	One at a time! 3 months ago I bought three of these. All three are now acting up! One randomly skips/crackles randomly. One requires a VERY heavy finger to depress any and all buttons - but does still work (after only 4-6 total hrs. of use) and the 3rd one won't play certain CD's at all. Burned or factory cut CD's make no difference it plays both - most but not all the time. Had I not chucked all three shipping boxes & foam, I'd return them all!

Answer:	No to both questions. A warning if you have'nt purchased this player. The cd player is crap--it stops playing intermittently with evey cd I try to play. A lesson to be learned here is that with cheap prices come cheap electronics.I would not recommend this product. Even the connections for the speaker wires when inserted into the radio/cd unit don't fit tight and have to be played with to get a solid connection. The am band in my area --Long Island N.Y. is bad and you can't turn the unit around in the hopes of getting a stronger signal because of the wires for the speakers and the placement of the unit if you do get a good signal---the tuning buttons and tuner knob may not be facing you it may be facing away from you. This is my experience with this purchase. Spend more money to hopefully to get a better product.

The following is from my original review posted 27nov12: "I have not tried the CD player yet. As I recall from the Amazon blurb it is supposed to play CD-Rs and CD-RWs; I had it in my mind that it would play MP3s burned to a CD but what I see in the manual does not look encouraging. TO BE CLEAR, that was an ASSUMBTION on my part and I do not detract from the device because I assumed something not in fact. I am just stating that here to assuage anyone else's misconception." The Craig unit is supposed to play music on CD-Rs and CD-RWs but they must be burned in the standard CD format, not burned as a bunch of MP3 files.

Answer:	Ah, time change. Twice every year. I had enough trouble with this one that I wrote it down on a sticky note and put it on the CD door. You enter Standby Mode by pressing AND HOLDING the Function/Standby Button (on the unit or remote); I believe it takes about 2-3 seconds to go into Standby Mode. This is mentioned in the manual under Operation>Radio>Step 5. The clock setting instructions are just above the Radio instructions. You will find a copy of the manual at http://www.craigelectronics.com/site/pdetails.php?id=167. Click on the gray Manual button to view or download the PDF file. The manual is small so you will have to zoom in. As a tip, I Google the model number of anything I buy, download the PDF manual and save them in a folder named TECH. After I gathered a lot of them I created sub folders for Audio, Auto, TV, Etc. I hope this helps.

Answer:	No. With the default settings, the camera will only record up to 40 ft. away, as that is the limitation of the PIR sensor. However, you can turn off the PIR sensor if you would like to go further, and simply use the cameras motion sensor. Additionally, there may be rare instances where the camera detects unrelated pixel change and PIR heat within the cameras field of view. Keep in mind, your camera will still be able to view up to 100 ft. at Night and further during the day. Question:	How do you completely turn the system off? Ive read the instructions, but still have words across the top, thank you i advance
Answer:	On both the radio and the radio's remote control is a button labelled On/Standby that turns the radio on/off. On remote the button is red and on the radio it's just above the volume button to the left side. You should look on the instructions under the tab Disc/Playback for on/off p. E-12 and p. E-4 under the tab Front Panel. Also, on the radio's remote is a button labelled sleep as a timer to turn off the radio, if you forget to do so.
Question:	Can i set the system to repeat all 5 cds so they will play all day until i turn the unit off
Answer:	Yes! I love this feature. MY only issue with this player is the complicated instructions . Otherwise it sounds great. I have 3 BOSE units which sound good, are compact, & easy to use.....but they are ALWAYS on the fritz. This little SHARP unit is small, sounds good, and most importantly for me....it has the 5 disc capability. I've had it about 4 years now & it has never failed to operate properly. AND it's almost 3x less in price than a BOSE.... which only plays ONE disc. No brainer!

Answer:	No, the above is the size of the main unit, though my measurments are slightly different. Measurement across the top of the unit with the speakers at each side of the main player: 19 inches. Speakers, each: 5-3/4” X 7-1/2” X 10-1/2”. Main unit: 6-3/4” X 9-1/2” X 11-1/2”
Question:	cant he speakers be separated from base unit and how long is the wire from back of base unit to speaker
Answer:	The speakers are, indeed, separate from the base unit. The speakers are "hardwired" with about 6-feet length of rather thin gauge wire. The main unit has simple spring-loaded terminals to pinch the bare ends of the speaker wires. I added some additional length of heavier gauge wire to the existing wires to get the length I needed. The speakers are 6-ohms, but the manual states something like, "don't use speakers that are less than 6-ohms", which, to me, indicates one could use different speakers as long as they are at least 6-ohm. For example, 8-ohm speakers are common, but they might wouldn't be as efficient with the relatively low-powered 50-watt amplifier ... some they wouldn't be able to get as loud as the stock 6-ohm speakers.

Question:	Does Bluetooth work without headphones
Answer:	The PLL stands for Phase Locked Loop. Its an electronic method for locking the radio to an active station near the tuner's position in the band. Its main purpose is to stop tuning drift. Its fairly standard in modern radios.

Answer:	The unit is 9" wide by 6" high by 9" deep. I assume you can connect it to existing speakers, if their power requirements are met.

Answer:	Unfortunately there are no speaker wire terminals on the back of the unit. There should be: its a nice unit with plenty of power. I had to cut the wires to add a powered subwoofer. Works great, though!
