Answer:	To use sirusXM, spotify, you do. However, there are 1000s, of radio stations you can connect to for free. You use the radio knob just like a regular radio and find stations. You can search by genre, name, location and it's well worth it even if you don't subscribe to any music subscriptions. I use mine just about everyday and I'm very satisfied.

Question:	Is this radio Compatible with Amazon Music
Answer:	I am not exactly sure what you are asking. This device is a radio with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity. It is not a 'smart' device like an iPhone, computer or Alexa. It will not run apps so you cannot run Apple iTunes or Amazon Music apps on it. However, it can act as a Bluetooth speaker. Why you would want to do that I am not sure. The Wi-Fi function will allow you to connect with any UPnP or DLNA compatible server on a Wi-Fi network so you can stream music files that are on that device. I hope this helps.

Answer:	There is every likelihood that WGN's streaming service can be heard on this radio when it is connected to a functioning wi-fi signal that is in turn connected to the internet. In fact, your husband can use one of the preset buttons to "lock it in" as a favorite. And no, the radio does not to be hardwired to any other equipment. It is a portable radio in every sense - as long it can receive an internet connected wi-fi signal.

Answer:	The easiest way is to go to the Frontier website (http://www.wifiradio-frontier.com) and browse or search for stations, and add the station to your Favorites. You have to sign up to do this, but it is free & easy.

Answer:	There definitely is a subscription fee for Sirius. They have multiple plans available all at different fees. I suggest you look on the Sirius website. I dont think it is worth what they want.....I'm just going back to using my iPod.

Answer:	It does not have built-in Bluetooth, however I was able to add a TaoTronics Wireless Portable Bluetooth Transmitter and it it works GREAT! For a few dollars more there is a TaoTronics Wireless Portable Bluetooth Transmitter/Receiver that looks nicer.

Answer:	As mentioned somewhere else this radio uses Skytune. And this receiver is so much better, because even if Skytune shuts down one day you can still save up to 99 internet stations entering the stream URL manually... So you might lose some functionalities but most of the radio will still be operable.

Answer:	The internal battery cannot be replaced but it recharges nicely with no difficulty. I have an earlier model of this radio, and the battery in that unit shows no signs of losing its charge. My “new” version is only a few months old but in this one too the charging is good. Charging a depleted battery (depletion clearly indicated by a bar-graph in the main window) takes a few hours, but you can listen to it while it is plugged in – or detach it half-charged.

Answer:	No, pandora has not approved the addition of their service yet, looks like approval has slipped to middle or late January due to holiday schedules of developers and testers. Your radio will show that the software has upgraded and Pandora will be in the top of the audio services folder menu when it is released. In the meantime, you can cast pandora from a smartphone to the radio then control the station from the front of the radio. Please do a google search for ‘ chromecast built in audio’ and you can see the advantages of chromecast over Bluetooth as example.
Question:	can external speakers be connected to it
Answer:	No, but you can buy other radios and put them in the same room or anyplace in your home and synchronize the audio (or play separate music). You can create zones of radios as well as pair them with any other brands chromecast enabled speakers and control it via a google home as an option.
Question:	Are there only 10 presets? Is there a way to add more stations in the memory
Answer:	There are multiple options: 1) 10 presets 2) 50 stations in your my history folder 3) register the radio to the Grace web site where you can manage the stations that are in your 'my stuff' folder. You can create sub folders and store an unlimited number of stations. This is performed on the web site, note the radio, but the web site will then push the stations and folders to the radio. You cannot add stations into the my stuff folder directly from the radio.

When I plugged it back in I was both surprised and delighted to see it come back up all by itself and start playing the same programming as though nothing had happened to the power. Answer:	Yes the EX8000 used as a wifi extender you have the option of having a guest network. You can use same SSID name as your main router or use a different SSID altogether. I did have issues with more than one extender on the same network using same SSID name as main router so I had to change one of the extenders to a different SSID.
