Answer:	Yes. It may not display the time but it will remember the time and set off the alarm. At least the old model did. This one I haven't had a power failure to test it yet, but it SHOULD do the same thing. The only time it wont' do it, based on experiences with the old clock, is when the battery in it is low.

Answer:	It does have brightness settings. See previous answers. I personally do not care for the brightness at either setting, so I cut a piece of heavy white construction paper (about 6 1/2 X 3 1/2 inches), set the clock to dimmest setting and place the construction paper over the front of the display. The paper usually sticks there by itself (due to static electricity) and I only need it at night. The time is still visible in a dark room. Works great!

The HF 3470 has a "sunrise simulation" which I dig, and helps me wake up more naturally, which is what I bought the product for in the first place, so that was important to me, but is it for you? Lastly, the HF3470 has 2 sound simulations whereas the HF3520 has 5. I wouldn't call that particular facet a deal breaker. It looks to boil down to the idea of the sunrise simulation and is that worth roughly $60 for you? Happy shopping.
Question:	Is the light very blue from the LED? I'm thinking of the blue-ish tinted "white" LED christmas lights... I prefer the warmer colors
Answer:	The LED light is not blue or white... It's a sort of orange color. Very warm and pleasant. You can also adjust the intensity of the LED light to make it very soft so you won't notice it in the dark. Perfect for people that prefer to sleep in a completely dark room, like me. But you can still see the time, even with the soft LED settings.

Answer:	Loud bird chirping, (rainforest maybe?) birds screeching and calls, music with birds, piano music, and the distant sound of waves under seagulls

Answer:	The Sonic Bomb has a pad that vibrates under your pillow. Since my wake-light only lasted 2 years, I got the Bomb, because I didn’t hear the alarm clock. I prefer the Wake-up light, but you can’t replace the bulb. I am not paying $100 every time the bulb dies in 2 to 3 years.

Question:	Why is product losing time? i waited until daylight savings time to see if that would clear it up when it auto-reset. cleared up 1 minute only. lynd
Answer:	No idea why your clock is losing time. I’ve had mine for 6 months and it keeps time perfectly. It also changed for day light savings time. Maybe you should check the batteries just in case your power is being interrupted. Ask for a return authorization, get a new one. Hope you have better luck next time.
Question:	how long is the power cord
Answer:	Power cord is 5 feet long.
Question:	Can I change the temperature to celsius
Answer:	yes,,you can by pressing the TIME SET button once and the degree symbol will start to flash. During that time press the + or - tp select Celsius or Fahrenheit.
Question:	Is this an atomic or skyscan that sets from satelite?e
Answer:	Neither. I got mine today and there is no autoset. What they call auto time set is that they set the time at the factory. I repeat, this clock will NOT autoset to the atomic clock signal broadcast from Fort Collins, Colorado.
