However, the fact that other Mesa safes indicate fire protection leads me to believe this one is not rated for long exposure to heat or flames. Unfortunately, we had two and they were both stolen within months. It was bolted down but they managed to break it free from our wood floors. However, the police had to blow it up in order to open it the first time and the thieves were never able to open it. So I imagine it's fairly fire-proof and your stuff is super safe inside. So long as it's bolted securely into something very solid, like concrete, it's nice an heavy and does the job. It just might not stand up to a house fire. You could always call Mesa at (714) 202-8000 to confirm.

Answer:	I like this little radio so much I bought it again after I misplaced the 1st one. It tunes in very well. Receives our 1000 watt, university station (88.3). My only beef is the bottom is so slim it struggles to stand upright if the music has a lot of bass. Certainly not a deal breaker. Love this little radio.

Answer:	I just sat here and did it personally before answering. Yes, you absolutely can play the radio, or MP3s while charging. When connected to a charge cable, the "charging" icon appears. Press the "mode" button to turn on the radio. If you have a TF/SD card installed with MP3s. it will default to that mode and begin playing. Press the FM/AM button to switch to the band you want, or the SW button to play shortwave bands. The "charging" indicator continues to show it's charging the entire time. And yes, also you can connect the power cable and play the radio with no battery in it, although it says in the manual not to. Not really sure how it cold hurt the radio to do so???

Answer:	Sorry don’t know but the software ( Audacity) has so many features you might be able to convert or set stereo. I copied a teaching tape and an audio tape and they sound like the original imo.

Answer:	This alarm clock sucks, do not buy it. A waste of time and money, it weighs about 3 ounces, is cheap and very difficult to program. Instructions are no good, just in china. Find another one....
Question:	Where can I find directions for setting correct time
Answer:	Mine was in the box but I couldn’t set the time I just use it for the radio was disappointed in it
Question:	How do you dim the display
Answer:	You cant. It says you can, but I have yet to find anywhere on it to actually do it. The clock is junk, save your money.
