Answer:	I did a test with my wife wearing the headphones in another room and me standing next to the TV with a football game on at a moderate volume (loud enough that it could clearly be heard anywhere in the room, but not so loud you had to scream to be heard) and she could hear me clearly and couldn't hear the game at all. I would imagine a semi truck with the doors closed and windows up would still be louder than the TV was, but would probably still handle it well. These bar none are the best headphones I have owed.

Answer:	Maybe I have a big head but these were just barely able to fit but I am hoping they will stretch a little with use. Right now I can only wear them for a few hours before my ears hurt too much from the tight fit. No worries about them falling off though. :-)
