Answer:	As far as I know the batteries are not replaceable. That said, if you can get to the batteries, you just need to find a part number on them and search for replacements. Most likely would need to send back to Sony.

Answer:	I have both and no, it is not as good. For example, if i have a fan next to me at level 3, the xm3s will eliminate the noise. With the 900ns the fan noise will go from level 3 to level 1.

I am on the spectrum so I have noise sensitivity issues. if the child can't stand anything in his ear like earplugs. then get a construction grade headphones. I use them to down out the other people in my house or my rude neighbor that blasts talk radio. Answer:	I do mid range running (three miles around 7.5mph pace) and have zero issues with fit or keep clean after about 3 months of use. Ive been wearing this same pair in the shop for hearing protection though for much longer, around a year. I hand wash them immediately after working out. If working out I would recommend a hair band for females or something to help soak up sweat from the top of your head. The foam around the ears could be easily and relatively cheaply replaced over time if needed. The head band not so much.

The PS5's 3D audio will work with the XM4s. I have had the XM3 model for 2 years and I absolutely love them. They work great with my PS4. Because I was so happy with the XM3 I decided to upgrade to the XM4. I've owned Bose and Beats before but I've found them lacking in features. I can not recommend the WH-1000XM4 enough.
