Answer:	As stated in my review, the first pair of batteries that came with the unit, lasted 4 1/2 years. The little button on the bottom is a 3 channel position slide switch. Depends on the location you place the unit (transceiver) determines the best channel. You will need to try each of the channels for the best reception. Does this answer help you?
Question:	Do you have to turn the headphone on manually like the old models(RS 170, RS 180)? Or does it turn itself on automatically when you pick it up from the charger
Answer:	In this order: Connect the headphone base to wall power, but not to the TV. Hang the headset on the base and make sure it's charging (red light will be on). Allow headset to fully charge (a few hours). While the headphone jack is still not connected to the TV: Turn on the TV and turn it up loudly enough that you can hear it. Connect the wire from the headphone base to the TV. Make sure your 3.5 mm connector is plugged all the way into the socket (sometimes people don't push them in far enough). The TV speakers should be muted now. Check to make sure you have a green light on the headphone base, meaning that it is getting an audio signal. Turn on the headphones. You may just hear static, or you may hear distorted TV sound. Turn the fine tuning adjustment on the head phones until you have good audio from the headphones.

Answer:	Our Toshiba TV has on-screen settings menus that allow cutting off the speakers while leaving the audio jacks active. But there are a few menu steps, which gets to be a nuisance when executed 5 - 10 times in an hour. So instead I plug the RS120 base transmitter into the Directv satellite receiver., which allows use of the headset with the TV speakers muted -- or even with the TV turned off. (One tiny issue with that arrangement: the receiver audio and the TV audio are not perfectly synchronized, so if you elect to use the headset while the TV speakers are on, you get an echo effect.)

Question:	Do these suppress engine noise
Answer:	They suppress all noise by virtue of the seal around the ear, but they won't block it out because they're not technically noise canceling (no active noise suppression). They also do better with high frequency noise and aren't as good in low frequency where much engine noise lies, which is true of all things that only passively block noise eg ear plugs. So the answer is yes to a limited degree, but it won't be a complete suppression by any means and more in the high frequencies. I've found the combo of these with earplugs to be very effective for airplane noise.
Question:	Is the cord detachable? The description says it is detachable, answers here say otherwise
Answer:	The cord is not detachable but it is replaceable.If you're handy with a soldering iron you can however easily add a 3.5mm headphone jack to use a removable cable.
Question:	How is the sound leakage? l need portable headphones to use in the bus, library, and such. I don't want to bother people around me
Answer:	There is "sound leakage". At the moment, I have them hooked up to my computer. No special amplification, just on-board Realtek. At 75-100% volume, I can slightly hear them over ambient noise (such as my heater, which is kind of loud) while standing about ten feet away. I don't know if everyone else that answered this question listens to their music at low volume, or if their headphones have some insulation that mine doesn't but in my experience, there is plenty of "sound leakage". Also, you could actually use these as speakers while you're not wearing them. They wouldn't be loud enough to entertain anyone, but you could still listen to something while they sit on your desk.

Question:	Can any recommend an amp for these? i was thinking of getting the objective 2 but if anyone else has a better one please tell me. p.s. i'm on a budget
Answer:	I powered the HD599s with my LG-G4 smartphone, an Acer Chromebook R-13 (excellent headphone section for a laptop), a Schiit Modi 2 Uber/ Vali 2 (Genalex Gold Lion 6922 tube) stack that I use at work (I also used a Schiit Magni 2 Uber with the Magni 2 Uber), and a Schiit Bifrost Multibit/Valhalla 2 (Genalex Gold Lion 6922 tubes)stack I have at home (I also used a Schiit Asgard 2 with the Bifrost). I did/do not apply any equalization or effects when I listen. Like all the higher end Sennheiser headphones, the HD599s improved noticeably as the driving components improved. After a lot of listening to the 598s and 599s I concluded that they both sounded best when run through my Bifrost/Asgard 2 stack (The Modi 2U/ Magni 2U pairing was also excellent), so this is how I listened when doing my analysis. Like most lower impedance headphones, they both seem to prefer solid state amps to OTL tube amps, but they did pair well with the Vali 2 (a hybrid tube amp) as well. I know the O2 is a brighter amp (and solid state) and would probably pair quite we with these.
Question:	How is the bass on these headphones? Does it effect the mids/highs at all
Answer:	While these aren't "bass head" headphones, they have noticeably more bass than their predecessor the HD 598s. I always found the HD 598s to be a little "bass light", where the HD 599s have a much richer sound. The HD 599's are more musical where the HD 598s are more analytical. Depending on the track and your listening level there may be some noticeable intermodulation distortion where the bass frequencies will distort the mids and highs. On Deadmau5's new track "Let Go" the effect is very noticeable when you turn them up (and not all that loud). Playing the same track on my HD 600s, HD 650s, and HD 700s does NOT result in this distortion. It isn't that the bass is distorting, it just interferes with the mids and highs. These HD 599s are my daily driver (at work) and I REALLY like them. They are a far more versatile than the HD 598s, they sound fantastic, and I don't regret the purchase at all. At work I run them on a Schiit Modi 2 Uber/Magni 2 Uber stack and the pairing with the HD 599s is excellent. The highs are also better on the HD 599s than the HD 598s (which struggled with "Sh" and "F" sounds).
Question:	Can you use these on a phone
Answer:	I do So everyday at work. No external DAC or Preamp, and its just an iPhone 6.
Question:	How do these compare to the 598s
Answer:	I think the sound is tighter, the base is slightly more pronounced, again, tighter with some snap but not boom box silliness. The sound is more focused as if you were close to the stage and not several rows back. The soundstage or separation is very close to the 98 but not that noticeable unless you're very observant. The build is better, and these phones will not have to be handled like rice paper or egg shells. Overall, just a better headphone, really. It is said, by many, the 599 shares some values present in the Senn 600 with its clinical clarity and separation of instruments present. The highs are well rounded, not sharp or shrill. The midrange presence is very solid, and not released. These are not V sounding phones like your M50 Audio Technica. To me, those phones are offensive. The V sound is pronounced base, kind of extreme, and ditto for the offensive treble while the mids are not really projected. The Senn is the opposite, a very balanced headphone in all respects, with wonderful separation, clarity, and build. It is a great all around jack of all trades headphone. That is, TV movies sound really good with these and music, well, I like them better for the focus and presence compared to the 598. Hope this helps. As far as the 598, those are cheaper if you buy the black model. And the 558 sounds a lot like them, and even cheaper if money is an issue. You may also, for a few dollars more, look into the Shure 1440 headphones. They are within affordable range, just as good as the 599 in every way, but do not have that dark and sometimes veiled sound as the Senn does.

Question:	how long is the cable
Answer:	I've not actually done this as I have a different novation device for this, but as this device's buttons are assignable, the answer is yes. Depending on your DAW's compatibility with this device though, you might find yourself needing to do a good bit of device registration customization. For instance I use Studio One and there was not a direct device match in it's available profile. I can use the keyboard and some of the knobs as a default midi device, but have to customize the device profile to assign all of the functions. Something to be aware of.

Question:	Is the headphone compatible with either aptx-hd or aptx-ll
Answer:	I agree with Wessel. The Bose has better noise cancellation, sound quality in the Sennheisers is better. On the other hand, I only notice the difference in back-back comparison, in conditions designed to push the limits. You might be happier with your choice if you include other criteria, such as comfort, ease-of-use, etc. If you plan to use these headphones with telephony applications like Skype, You might want to consider the Sennheiser MB 660 MS. Physically it seems identical to the PXC 550 but firmware is different and it comes with a wireless dongle adapted for that use. It also comes with a much nicer carrying case.
Question:	What are the best noise cancelling headphones for Window 10 laptops
Answer:	I bought the 550 and returned it for the Sony 1000xm2. The 550 has better noise isolation, but was really underwhelmed by the audio quality. Both cancel out the white noise but the 550 seemed to block out voices much better, which may simply mean it has a better seal on my head. But the audio quality was very inferior to my ears. I own the Sony MDR-1A, and the 1000xm2 isn't quite as good as those wired cans, but they are a lot better than the 550's. That coupled with the clunky app for the 550's made me switch. The Sony isn't perfect, it still beeps at me randomly every so often and I haven't figured out how to make that stop. It is only every 20 minutes or so, so I live with it.
Question:	Does it have backup wired functionality in case the batteries die on-the-go
Answer:	TL;DR - I'm selling my HD1s (Momentum) and going back to PXC 550. I had a much older PXC 550 model which I LOVED and travelled with for several years. I needed to replace them so I opted for the HD1, which is the precursor to the Momentum. I wanted to love these headphones - they look beautiful, they sound beautiful, they are awesome for both calls and music - BUT they are SO UNCOMFORTABLE. I cannot wear them for more than maybe 30 minutes at a time before my ears are killing me. They don't actually go around my ear, they are too small so they sit on top a bit, which squishes my ear against my head. This would be OK if they were actually on-ear headphones, but they're not, they're very heavy and tight against your head. If you are looking for comfort, the PXC 550s are the way to go without compromising the sound quality.

Answer:	Yes. The headphones can be paired to 2 active devices at the same time. (It can remember up to 8 devices in memory). My headphones automatically switch between laptop high fidelity audio vs iPhone depending on which devices is outputting sound. Answer:	I wipe the bulk of it out with my hand and then rinse and wipe the folds under running water. It's not ideal but not sure of a better way.

Answer:	I have very long hair and I notice it does wrap around the bristles and get stuck. However the great thing about this vacuum is the brush piece is removable for cleaning. It comes off the front of the vacuum with just the push of a button, so you can easily access the bristles. Once it's removed it's very easy to clean the bristles of accumulated hair, lint, etc.

Answer:	These come with a 3 meter cable.

Answer:	Sound quality wise I would say yes, but even though these are only 150ohm they still aren't all that much louder than the other models in the series (HD600, 650, 6XX). I'm running mine off of the balanced output of a Schiit Jotunheim (with DAC Module) and they sound fantastic.
Question:	Are these water resistant
Answer:	The balanced cable that comes with these 660S is a 4.4mm Pentaconn connector which is a larger version of the 2.5mm 4 pole port that Onkyo uses. You may be able to find an adapter, otherwise you'd have to find an aftermarket cable. I had to purchase an aftermarket XLR balanced cable to use this with my Schiit Jotunheim.
Question:	Do these improve hearing
Answer:	Yes, my LG V30 auto-detects them as high-impedance, and is capable of very high volume. At volume level 55, it's already around 80-85dB with modern music. The sound quality is quite good with tightly controlled, powerful bass and fairly open soundstage. It's a very good pairing. Just remember the stock HD660S cable is rather long and needs to use an adapter to 3.5mm, so if you're mainly going to use it with the V30, I might look into a shorter aftermarket cable terminated in 3.5mm TRS.

Answer:	Only aptX and aptX low latency, not apt-X HD.
Question:	One side of the earphones has quit working. How do I make a warranty claim
Answer:	Best by itself is a meaningless metric for consumer equipment. Best audio quality is a 4k pair of wired headphones, plugged into a 3k amp. But plugging that into a windows 10 laptop would be a waste. You should list the features you care about, and a price range.
Question:	How's long the cord
Answer:	The Momentum 3 can use two different connections. It comes with a 3.5mm jack (source) to 2.5mm jack (headphones) cable. The Momentum's charging port (USB-C) can also be used as an input. This is great for the Ipad Pro or Android phones that use USB-C for charging. The cans come with a USB-C to USB-C cable for charging that doubles as a wired source.

Answer:	The drivers in the Momentum 3 have increased in size, allowing them to be more powerful and deliver a better higher quality sound. The build quality has gotten some tweeks, and uses real sheepskin leather. They now use Bluetooth 5 and have aptx and aptx low latency. They feature a smart pause to music when you take them off, and an auto shut off feature (auto on also) when you fold them. The noise cx has gotten a boost and can be turned off or utilized in 3 modes (low pressure, anti wind, max). They have USB-C charging which doubles as a wired connection to iPad pro or android phones. They still come with 3.5 jack as well. They are being reviewed as the best sounding headphones in this category hands down.
