Unlike those, you are not forced to switch between devices. It will automatically remember the last 8 devices you paired with. And if the device you want to pair with is set up to connect with it, it will do so automatically. It even will stay connected with two devices at the same time. These are much “smarter” technology than the 35. |

| Answer: | It will work, but probably not well. They have a problem that keeps them from working reliably on Zoom, Teams, or other video conferencing software when connected to Windows PCs or Macs. There is supposed to be a firmware update to fix this, but the first one that came out (1.4) caused worse problems, so they recalled it, and they have only promised a new version (1.5) but I haven't been able to actually find it anywhere as of Sept 13, 2020. Bose support is worse than useless. I'm giving up and returning them. |

I find the Bose 700's to be superior to both even if you consider the sound quality of these to be equal due to the other features. The multipoint bluetooth makes them more attractive than the Sony's. The passthrough is simply amazing. With the headphones on it sounds as if you're not wearing headphones. I no longer use any other headphones. If it's not raining I'll even take them outside because I can hear safely. I just received the Echo Buds and love them. They are my backup when it's raining (I live in Seattle). |

That is a MAJOR design advantage, not only in comfort, but also in safety, in that by avoiding pressure against the skin of the ear canal, the chance for discomfort / infection / inflammation is vastly reduced. There is nothing else like the old design on the market. I would only purchase the new model with the assurance that it faithfully incorporated the revolutionary advantages of the 4 older models I have purchased and given as gifts. |

"battery 40%, connected to..." I left them charging but when I came back to check on progress an hour or so later, all lights were out and I can't turn it on. Will see if Bose will replace. The over ear ones will transmit sound if you lean on them when trying to sleep in a plane. I find the "stethoscope sound" to not be an issue in everyday use. |

Ive been wearing this same pair in the shop for hearing protection though for much longer, around a year. I hand wash them immediately after working out. If working out I would recommend a hair band for females or something to help soak up sweat from the top of your head. The foam around the ears could be easily and relatively cheaply replaced over time if needed. The head band not so much. |

This makes them GREAT for studying or when you simply want peace to surround you. You WILL need batteries though or the noise cancelling wont work. However, even if the noise canceling feature is turned off, this will still passively block out a lot of noise as they are OVER-the-ear phones that cup (and cushion) your ear (works much better than cupping your ears with your hands). Best noise-cancelling phones I've seen BY FAR. |

Also, they offer superior audio quality to the airplane offered headphones - I am never going back to those and take my Bose headphones with me. However, for the true noise cancelling I would rather get Bose QuietComfort 15 or 25 instead, these work wonders on the airplane. |
