Answer:	I read a review where it's claimed that the QC 35 Series II maximum noise reduction is rated at 20.8 dB. The Series I is rated to reduce by 25.2 dB. Note that dB ratings are not linear: every 3 dB difference is twice (or half) the subjective volume. That means that 93 dB is twice as loud as 90 dB

Answer:	I have an earlier Bose version, where the ear phone is mounted on a very sophisticated ear bud that seats perfectly in the antihelix of the pinna (outer ear), thereby gently resting in the ear canal itself. That is a MAJOR design advantage, not only in comfort, but also in safety, in that by avoiding pressure against the skin of the ear canal, the chance for discomfort / infection / inflammation is vastly reduced. There is nothing else like the old design on the market. I would only purchase the new model with the assurance that it faithfully incorporated the revolutionary advantages of the 4 older models I have purchased and given as gifts.
Question:	Just how water/sweat resistant are they in use
Answer:	I've had these 7 months and have LOVED them. But... I just ran a little over 2 hrs in constant light drizzle and they stopped working a little over halfway through. I thought they were dead... but ever hopeful I let them dry thoroughly then plugged them in to charge. About 15 min later I was able to turn them on and it talked to me as usual... "battery 40%, connected to..." I left them charging but when I came back to check on progress an hour or so later, all lights were out and I can't turn it on. Will see if Bose will replace. Bottom line: great in dry weather, very sketchy when damp or wet!

Question:	Is it as easy to switch between devices as the QC
Answer:	You do not need to switch. I think people are trying to use these like the 35 headphones. Which is why the are getting frustrated. Unlike those, you are not forced to switch between devices. It will automatically remember the last 8 devices you paired with. And if the device you want to pair with is set up to connect with it, it will do so automatically. It even will stay connected with two devices at the same time. These are much “smarter” technology than the 35.
Question:	Can these connecto to a pc at call center? to be used with voip
Answer:	It will work, but probably not well. They have a problem that keeps them from working reliably on Zoom, Teams, or other video conferencing software when connected to Windows PCs or Macs. There is supposed to be a firmware update to fix this, but the first one that came out (1.4) caused worse problems, so they recalled it, and they have only promised a new version (1.5) but I haven't been able to actually find it anywhere as of Sept 13, 2020. Bose support is worse than useless. I'm giving up and returning them.
Question:	Are these going to be better than the QC
Answer:	I found these to sound better. It may be because the Noise Reduction is slightly better. I have the QC35's and the Sony wh-1000xm3's. I find the Bose 700's to be superior to both even if you consider the sound quality of these to be equal due to the other features. The multipoint bluetooth makes them more attractive than the Sony's. The passthrough is simply amazing. With the headphones on it sounds as if you're not wearing headphones. I no longer use any other headphones. If it's not raining I'll even take them outside because I can hear safely. I just received the Echo Buds and love them. They are my backup when it's raining (I live in Seattle).

Answer:	Hi! I was able to connect The XM3 Headphones to my PC (windows 10) for music and my iphone 11 for calls simultaneously. When a call came in, music stopped and the headphones switched to the call. Unfortunately, it only worked for 5 minutes. When i downloaded the sony app it stopped working. I have tried everithing, disconecting one or the other, then connecting again, reseting the headphones to factory sertings, limiting device input connection to music only in my windows 10 PC. But no luck. The multi device conection is very important to me i may have to return them.... Anyone has been able to connect simultaneausly to pc windows 10 and iphone? Even is the connection is music onle and calls only respectively?

Answer:	How could you trust Sony to fix this issue? Sony's MDRX950BTs had the cracked headband issue too (2 months after purchase), and also refused to cover it under warranty for those headphones. Sony has trashed their brand by not controlling their support and warranty experience. Why would a consumer buy a $300 item to have it break within months and then be told it's not covered under warranty? There is absolutely no trust left for Sony in the headphone market. They have a terrible reputation, because they have provided parasitic level, negative value to their customers. What Sony has done with their headphone business in the past few years is unforgivable. They don't have a clue when it comes to CX, support, or brand control in their distribution channels. I can't wait for a headphone start up to blow these guys out of the sea of Japan.

Question:	Can you use just the right ear bud without the left
Answer:	Yes. Whether you want to or not. The left frequently cuts out on you. If you love listening to your music out of just one ear bud with asecond delay between audio and video, these are the head phones for you. If you expect your $249 head phones to have the minimum functions of a $10 pair of Dollar General headphones, move on. The headphones are purely for elitist looking for the name Bose without a care for actual performance.
Question:	do they have a microphone
Answer:	To answer the question, yes there is a microphone. To give better context to the quality of it I'll say that, as a truck driver who has used many different headsets and earbuds, these have been the best. Most others have been unusable while driving but these have been noted by those I've talked to on the phone to be very clear. The only complaint I have is their wind noise reduction is non-existent and they're basically unusable in environments that have unexpected noises. So it would seem their ability to cancel out droning is top notch, but inconsistent noises throw them for a loop.

Answer:	Hi there, Thanks for your question. Yes they do.
Question:	Anyone use these for working out? How do they hold up
Answer:	I do mid range running (three miles around 7.5mph pace) and have zero issues with fit or keep clean after about 3 months of use. Ive been wearing this same pair in the shop for hearing protection though for much longer, around a year. I hand wash them immediately after working out. If working out I would recommend a hair band for females or something to help soak up sweat from the top of your head. The foam around the ears could be easily and relatively cheaply replaced over time if needed. The head band not so much.
