Question:	Do they have a volume control
Answer:	There is NO mic on these headphones, built-in or otherwise. Since I do not use these headphones with my phone, I can not say IF the volume control works on them either. When I have these plugged-in to my TV/computer monitor, I use a "mini pre-amp" to control the volume. Hope this helps...

Answer:	I have the original (first generation) Amazon basic headset, my ear pads were falling apart and I didn't want to buy a new pair because these are still really good.
