Answer:	When the earbuds are stored in the case they are being recharged. The case provides 7 full charges for the earbuds, (see page 4 in manual). Rather than waiting after 7 times to recharge the case, I plan on plugging my case in with the USB cord and recharging the case after about 6 times. I personally don't wait til 25% or lower power to recharge any of my devices unless I don't have my charger/cord with me. I hope this helps everyone.
