Answer:	Yes, you can record your message. A Digital answering machine is just an answering machine connected to a landline with the ability to store recorded messages to an internal memory chip. Don't get hung up on the word digital. It's just an answering machine like you're used to. To record your message on your handset you push menu then type in #302, select yes, then record up to 2 minutes of a message then press stop.

As the description states "Dialpad Headset Telephone". I connect this to my home phone line. It acts just like a phone. I can dial out and receive calls. The only difference is that it has a headset instead of a handset. It does *not* require Cisco or any other SIP, and does not "clip onto your belt"It works well for me on a daily basis for dialing into customer calls.

Answer:	No it does not. The numbers are quite large, though. I have 2 of these phones & love them. Since I am a person who needs to have an "emergency button", I use "911 Help Now", which calls 911 directly, when you push the button. I tested mine to be sure that I got a live person, one time & let them know right away it was a test call. Last time I looked, they were available on Amazon. They have a variety of styles. Mine has a loud alarm and flashing lights, too. No monthly fees or anything! Lots of places offer them for sale.

Answer:	I did not keep these phones, instead I got these Panasonic Amplified Cordless Phone KX-TGM420W with Enhanced Noise Reduction and Digital Answering Machine - 1 Handset (White). My dad is very hearing impaired and had almost quit talking on the phone out of frustration. I sent these phones to him and we once again have a long talk every Saturday morning. The volume is adjustable for each phone and you can even slow the conversation down to understand better. They sell different bundles depending on how many extension phones you need. I feel like it was money well spent.
