Answer:	I am not clear as to whether you are asking about the part that inserts into the ear or the part on the outside of the ear. I will answer both. For the inside, I would guess you could use other covering for comfort inserting in the ear; however it comes with 3. At least 1 is smaller, the other may be a little bit larger or the same size as the one as it comes. For the outside clip over the ear - it is fixed and is positional so it can fit comfortably on the ear. Best wishes.

Answer:	No. I have small ears and have tried all three sizes of the included ear buds, and with the ear loop extended and unextended, but cannot get a snug fit. Using the smallest, I can sometimes get it to stay put for a while after much pulling and twisting to get it in, but usually it just pops out and rests loosely on the outer surface of my ear.

A friend said it performs well as a ghetto tubeless tire but it was pretty tricky getting it to seat. He used stans tubeless kit and said it performed well once the tire settled. I've used this tire on my commutting mtb and have used it for over 5 months. Good performance for the price and while it is not recommended as a tubeless tire, you can certainly use it in a ghetto tubeless setup with some work and effort.

Last Winter we camped at 30 different Florida State Parks over a 5 month period, and did LOTS of cycling. They were more challenging on sandy trails, and there was a lot more effort required when riding through pine forests with heavy beds of pine needles (which presented a lot of “rolling resistence”, and made biking much more challenging... although it was a good workout!). There is, to my knowledge, no tire that will be perfect in all conditions. That said, I think that for most of what you queried, they’d do ok. FYI we just bought another set of tires for our bikes, and purchased these very same tires once again!
