Answer:	I frequently use these for phone calls. On this same product page, when you look at all the color options, you'll also notice that there is a version with a mic and one without. Obviously, the one with the mic will work fine for calls, but at least on an iPhone, the one without a mic can also work -- I can't say this with certainty, but I think when you plug in non-mic earbuds, the phone activates the same built-in mic it uses when you talk on speakerphone.

Answer:	I use my (hybrid road) bike daily with these on, cycling 10 to 17 miles per day. They work well for me, and stay on. You can change the rubber end to find the best ear fit.
