Answer:	Good Compass but not great Hold down on one of the buttons and the watch face becomes a compass. It shows the degrees (0-360) and the general direction (SE for example). You would not use this watch to plot a course on a map. For that, you can buy a compass for less than $20 that lie flat on a map, can be adjusted for a magnetic correction, they have lines, etc.

Answer:	I think the band is OK for occasional moisture such as rain, would not wear it the shower or say canoing or kayaking. I would be OK immersing the watch in water such as swimming ( not diving) but would swap out the exisitng band for a nylon one for those activities. Band looks nice though and is comfortable ( so long as it is not wet)

Answer:	In December 2020 this listing included models where the the crown is inset into the bezel for protection (40mm) and models where the crown is unprotected (37mm). Suunto was founded in 1936 by outdoors man and a keen orienteering enthusiast, Tuomas Vohlonen, who had long been bothered by a problem: the inaccuracy of traditional dry compasses and their lack of steady needle operation. Question:	what size wrist does the standard black rubber strap fit
Answer:	My wrist is ~8.5", maybe a little more. The Vector band fits my wrist on the last hole. There is not enough band left to fit into the sleeve intended to secure the end of the band. The Core band is about 3/4" longer.

Answer:	I have been researching the Suunto Core All Black to find the best price for purchase. One of the key features needed is an alarm clock, but I could not find any definitive information as to whether it had one or not. Even the Suunto website and manual was not very cut and dry with an answer. I contacted Suunto customer service and asked about this function (pf which they responded in the affirmative), but I also asked the comment made here stating Amazon purchases are not honored via warranty. Suunto stated this is COMPLETELY FALSE! Amazon IS an authorized reseller. You need only keep your receipt. Finally have this issue/question clearly and easily resolved after so many guesses since 2013!

Answer:	Yes, you clamp the buckle on the opposite side of the locking mechanism so it could theoretically be cut very short, like maybe 12 inches at shortest, there are just no lines to show you where to cut shorter than 28 inches, but a measuring tape could easily fix that.

Answer:	I work simular hours to you, but I work in a meat department and this belt lasted me 7months.
Question:	Does this watch have a left handed mode? Can I wear it on my right wrist with the buttons pointed toward my right hand
Answer:	This belt is designed well. A light pull on the spring-loaded latch, and the belt slides right out. I have had zero issues with it. You can even adjust the belt while sitting down. There is no slippage either.
Question:	Anyone that didn't get it free like it? Lol
Answer:	You take off the buckle and cut the belt to the length you need. There are lines marked with each measurement on the inside of the belt. Once trimmed, out the buckle back on and then check to see if the rachets are in range. If not, repeat and trim more. We did a little at a time until my son was able to synch it up to the tightness he wanted.

Answer:	Do not use in a hot shower or sauna. More and more people have reported problems wearing their TWP3 watch in a shower. It can be used for swimming according to Mobvoi. I believe its the hot temperature of the water that affects it.

Answer:	The waterproof and dustproof grades of the TicWatch Pro 3 GPS is in accordance with IP68 (1.5m water depth, 30 minutes) in standard 60529 of the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC). Answer:	Yes, I wear it as a watch that normally displays time, date and battery life. Then I can toggle thru other displays when I want to see heart rate, steps, weather, calendar, workout, or any of the other features.
Question:	Does the GPS work if it's covered by a jacket or long sleeved shirt
Answer:	I purchased this for my wife so I do not use it however I am a surveyor so I do have vast experience with GPS. GPS signals will not be hindered by thin materials such as cloth. Inside buildings with wood and shingle roofs will throw the location of a bit reducing the accuracy. GPS signals simply do not penetrate metal objects. That being said you should not experience any loss of signal or accuracy using typical clothing items. You may experience some issues if the device was covered with something metallic such as those solar blankets. Perhaps a good experiment to ease your mind is use your cell phone's GPS tucked into your sleeve as the technology is nearly identical in all small consumer products.

Answer:	Yes, it is...I looked at the manual and the water rating is actually 5 ATM (atmospheres), not 5 meters. 5 ATM actually equates to about 50 meters deep, so technically you could swim or shower with this watch just fine. Question:	Does this watch have continuous heart rate monitoring like the fitbit surge
Answer:	I am not familiar with the fitbit however this garmin 235 monitors your heart rate constantly as long as you are wearing it. I wear mine even while I am sleeping. It is neat to see my resting heartbeat. Love it!

Answer:	The Approach S10 is smaller, it's dimensions are 35.5 x 40.7 x 11.3 mm. I will also list the Approach S20 dimensions as reference 37.4 x 47.6 x 11.3 mm.

Answer:	Yes, you can use this as a daily timepiece. The Approach S10 has a battery life up to 14 weeks in watch mode.

Answer:	Tells how far from front, center, and back of green. Also, distance to different layups, to bunkers, to water hazards (front and rear). Counts strokes but I haven't tried that.
