Answer:	Mine stays folded being held upside down by the strap. Not sure how much jostling it would take but touch page turning is not a problem.

Answer:	I only have the newest Paperwhite. My first one was the original Kindle so I can't say but it doesn't seem to be adjustable.

Answer:	It’s PU leather (polyurethane) but looks nice and holds up well. I’ve used mine for a year (six months heavy use, six light) and see no wear whatsoever. I would buy it again.
