Answer:	The case sits up using a magnet. However, it does stay closed, but not magnetically. I've used the case a little less than a year. It has functioned beautifully. Answer:	It helps protect the device, but anything can break depending on the angle of impact. I never dropped mine, but the MoKo case didn't last long. The plastic lip that secures the device in place started breaking off, without being stressed. I've seen other reviewers post the same issue.

Answer:	There is no Gen 10 2019. The Gen 10 came out in 2018. No updates to the Paperwhite have come out since 2018. This fits the Gen 10 2018 Paperwhite.

Answer:	The cover has a hard shell that the Paperwhite sits inside. The switch and charge opening are recessed inside the case opening and while you can access both with the cover closed, the area is protected by the hard frame of the case surrounding the opening. It doesn't wake up unless the cover is opened. I've used the slimshell case with my previous Paperwhite and never had an issue.

Answer:	I got this for the kindle paperwhite which is not $79. The one that is $79 (actually on sale right now for $59) is the kindle with touch, 6" display. The out side dimensions of this kindle are just a bit off of the paperwhite. Paperwhite is 6.7x4.6x.36, kindle touch is 6.7x4.7x4, so it is slightly bigger. Since the paperwhite fits really snug, I don't think it would fit the touch, not without work putting it on.
