Answer:	Very easy. Just pop the iPad out from the top right hand corner and insert your fingers in the opening and pad should pop out. If you don't want the keyboard in all the time, you might need to consider a standard iPad cover for protection. However, Zagg cover provides good protection although some weight is added.

Answer:	It sounds like you are asking if it folds around back and the answer is no. It goes about 165 degrees and does not lie flat.

Answer:	In short, not safely. This folio is designed to open in landscape orientation. The hinge only rotates one way, making the whole thing open like a netbook or laptop. The iPad half of the case is attached to the keyboard along the entire spine, so to speak, so there is no other way to rotate the iPad so long as it is in the case. According to at least one online review, it is possible to take the iPad out of the case and lean it in portrait mode against the back of the folio when open. I can't imagine that the manufacturer would recommend doing so, especially since that would leave the iPad unsecured and the back of the case itself (the part designed to hold the iPad, not the keyboard) is just bendable plastic.To the best of my knowledge, the only keyboard folio that allows you to rotate the iPad in its case so you can type with the tablet in either orientation is the Versavu made by Targus. Just be sure to read the reviews on the latest model (for the iPad Air), as the quality of the materials looks and reportedly feels cheaper than previous incarnations.Some keyboard covers permit portrait orientation as well, though most not as well as landscape. This is likely due to the fact that the iPad has magnets along its long sides but not the short sides, so it cannot be secured magnetically in portrait mode.

Answer:	The Keyboard will function when in range and paired with the iPad (blue tooth is wireless). The more serious issue you face is the tablet case does not have magnets on the short sides of the shell case you place the iPad into. Without these magnets, the shell case will not will not stand up in portrait mode. You will need to prop up the shell case some other way so the iPad will stay vertical. You could just lay it our flat on your desk or table but this may not a good solution for you.

Answer:	Yes - mine started doing this after a few months. It still charged, but had the red X on the battery. Now the cable is completely broken. Word of advice: If you are using this to charge your tablet in the tripod position (in other words, sitting upright against a support on the back) - don't do that unless you have the cord hanging straight down. This charger cord cannot take any bending or flexing at all - the wires inside break, then the covering on the cord breaks if you do that - then you're buying a new charger. I've been through 2 of these so far. I only keep buying them because they're one of the few I've found that actually work - at least for a while.
