Answer:	You can find a reference document on the Logitech website, but you can replace the watch batteries inside the keyboard. They are located along the hing. If you have the screen prompt up for typing then you can’t see the opening. You have to unattached the magnetic connection. Then along the inner hing up from the brightness buttons on the key board, you will see a slot to open and access the batteries.

Question:	does it work with the new Ipad
Answer:	As Barbara S. noted, the volume and camera openings don’t line up. The volume opening is actually TWO openings instead of one large hole, and the plastic “bridge” between the two openings is permanently depressing the “volume up” button (the iPad keeps displaying a box indicating max volume). I can’t tell if the off-center camera hole is causing an issue with what the camera sees. Still going to test drive and if I like the other features enough, I might just take a dremel to the volume opening. Not sure why there are such limited options for iPad 5th gen (2017), since it’s the only iPad Apple is selling now besides the Pro and Mini.

Answer:	Cheap plastic is correct. There's an aluminum cover over the hinge put that is purely decorative. It doesn't offer any support and the hinge will crack over time rendering the case useless. It's a very serious design flaw.

Answer:	If you don't open the case too far, you will not break the hinge and will have a long life. Once you open it too far, it is broken and leads to failure. So, do not exceed opening past about 110 to 120 degrees

Answer:	No, but before you spend the money please read the negative responses, mine included. I went out and bought a new keyboard, the Zagg design is flawed. I had mine for less than 3 months and its basically broke, the back of the keyboard where you put your ipad into cracked almost in half, alot of others are having the same issue. i have always been a zagg person, this is the first zagg that was a total disappointment. Buyer beware. And i'm not a heavy user. For the price you would think the keyboard was better quality.
