Answer:	You should be able to pop it out of a corner. Hold it over your lap or a soft surface in case you drop it. Open the case holding it with one hand flat under the open case. Then press downward on the edges of one corner only. The kindle should pop up and separate from that corner. You have to make sure you're only pushing on the case. If that doesn't work, try pressing at the side of one corner with one thumb and at the top of the same corner with your other thumb while supporting it on a table or in your lap. There has to be space under that corner to separate it so it can't be flat on the surface.

Answer:	I have the same kind of cover (with a magnet) on my 5th generation 10" Kindle with never a problem. It's designed to put the kindle to sleep when you close the cover. I bought it again when I bought the 7th generation 10" kindle and it does the same thing and is safe, as far as I can tell.

Answer:	The case features cutouts for the speakers. The speakers are not covered (or blocked) at all when the cover of the case is open, our closed. When the stand feature of the case is being used in the more upright position the speakers point down, toward the surface off whatever the tablet is set on. When the stand is being used in the " typing" position the speakers point away from the user.
