Answer:	No i believe it wont fit it i think the 6th gen is about 9.7 and this fits perfect to a 10.2 iPads this are the newer iPads

Answer:	It is perfect for the 7th generation iPad but I’m not sure if it will fit into a 4th generation iPad. I know for sure that it doesn’t fit into a 6th generation iPad as it is too big.
