Answer:	The case fits very snugly. Try putting the iPad bottom in first, then the left side, then gently pushing on the right upper hand corner until the case snaps in place. I managed to get the iPad into the case after a couple of tries. Look for a video, not sure if there is one, to see how others accomplished this task.

Answer:	Not at all. My case broke after a month. I contacted the seller to request a replacement or refund and they ask me to send them pictures of the damaged part. I sent the pictures and I never received an answer. I do not recommend the product nor the seller.
Question:	Can the shoulder strap be removed
Answer:	I have the 2nd gen and it’s compatible with that one I’m assuming the 1st gen is roughly they same size so I would say the 1st gen fits in the pencil sleeve as well
