Answer:	I'd be wary of using these for red, for some reason they don't attenuate red light very well even though they are supposed to surprisingly they only seem to work well with green light. I'd find a different manufacturer. Hope that helps.

Answer:	I actually purchased these specifically for this purpose and while I'm sure they're far better than nothing, they seem to block a very specific wavelength that's more focused on blocking out green. My UV laser (which is close to the blue spectrum you and I want to block) passes mostly through these, and wearing them while looking out into daylight, the light looks almost pink, further suggesting that they are blocking out more green than blue light. It's also worth noting that for comparison, the clip-ons I purchased that are specifically designed to prevent melatonin release completely block out my uv laser, do not create the "pink" effect with daylight, and have more of an amber hue.

Answer:	hm... first I had to look up Optical Density.The next thing I had to figure out was optical Absorbency.Then I cruised the web for a relevant fudge factor for the HDE-J74-NEW.Basically, there is nothing out there.I did find some video depicting a multi-watt laser burning a hole in a pair of HDE-J74-NEW.That "was" kind of cool.Plan B:I tried using a Bosh Laser Tape on them.I couldn't detect any absorbency attenuation - at all.If they have any, it's less than 1. (probably less than .1)I did not confirm that the Bosh source was at 532nm... maybe they have a narrow bandwidth in which they are effective. Answer:	No, the case doesn't do anything special to charge the Apple Pencil. To charge the Apple Pencil, you plug it into a lightning cable. (The Apple Pencil has a "cap" where the eraser would be on a pencil, and when you remove the cap you'll see a lightning connector.) The Apple Pencil's lightning connector is "male" so this means you have to use a "female-to-female" adapter to use a lighting cable to be able to attach the Apple Pencil's (male) lightning connector. This "female to female" adapter comes with the Apple Pencil but if you lose one you can by one for around $5 to $8. Alternatively, you CAN charge the Apple Pencil by plugging it's male lightning connector directly into the female lightning port of the iPad itself. The case actually makes this a bit difficult because there isn't quite enough clearance to fit the end of the Apple Pencil into the case opening where the iPad's lightning connector is, but if you kind of bend it around and force it, you CAN get it in there, and then the Apple Pencil will charge directly off the iPad. Of course, this depletes the iPad's battery charge, but not by much.

Answer:	These adapters are made to allow an older system with an IDE connector to work with a newer SATA hard drive. So yes, it may work. But the BIOS in the DVR will also have to be able to recognize the SATA hard drive once installed. This may work fine, or it may not depending on the BIOS. I wish I could give you a more definite answer. But it's going to be a case by case basis depending on the device.

Answer:	The vents can be closed as I’ve answered elsewhere. However along with keeping out the droplets you’re going to be limiting the air as well as raisiny the temperature. The only other I can think of besides as a very very fine mesh that will hold back water molecules,(they’re available), would be some kind of curtain that would come down over plug without sealing it. It sounds clumsy and there are probably a zillion reasons why the idea sucks but it’s the best I could do after a long day at work. Good luck.

Answer:	I’ve done this with about 30+ 2tb, 4tb, and 8tb drives over the years- converting an external to an internal- and they are all still running fine to this day. Usually $30-40 cheaper than the internal and you get a free usb cable to boot. Just make sure you don’t hurt your hands while doing it. Twisting a flathead screw driver in the seams seemed like the way to go if I recall. They don’t make the cases easy to open. For someone below: Don’t use these for RAID. NAS rated drives are different because they handle higher heat, able to run 24/7 with cross checks, etc. read more about what makes the iron version a NAS approved drive compared to the standard barracuda.

Question:	How heavy is the case itself? Do all ports line up
Answer:	My daughter has the iPad mini case and it lines up fine. There s a door for the charger so u don't have to take the case out. It's not heavy at all, s really light and protects great in my opinion. I had it before for my kindle fire and when I changed for the iPad mini I got the same style/material case. I think s a great case for kids an in love the handle.
Question:	Can you use the volumn button, connection port, etc
Answer:	Yes, there are cut outs for the volume control, rear camera lens and on/off switch. There is a flip open door for the connection port, but you do need to use a finger nail to get it open (I cut if off mine after a few days). There is a cover over the Home button that I thought may be a problem, but it seems to work fine for me.
Question:	Has anyone tried this case for an iPad
Answer:	The charging port and all other functions work fine. You won't need to take it out of the case once installed.
Question:	it seems you can buy for the ipad2-3-4/air ipad /& mini ipad.. does anyone know if it fits the first generation ipad
