Answer:	Initially I had the same problem. Push down and forward on the edge of the case (the spine of the book, if it were a book), so that the front cover extends out over more of the iPad. The magnets will now reach and turn off the display with a click. Turn the volume up at least 50% so you can hear the iPad click.

Answer:	Although some people would say its optional Id say yes because upon first startup you need to install a firmware update for the speaker which is important. You need the app to do this, and in the event your music player doesnt have an equalizer it has one there. And if you (like me) want to check the app for the exact percentage of your battery, it also displays it in the app. I do this mainly because once it falls below a certain percentage it doesnt give you it in 10s like it usually does (itll say "100% charge", "90% charge", etc.) but instead just gives you a "low charge warning" when your speaker could be at 25% or so, so it's more informative that way. I dont use any of the other functions for it but it could prove useful for you.

Answer:	I usually use the spary on my screen that I use to clean my eyeglasses. It's not harsh and I can use it in combination with a soft cloth. I have also tried a little windex and it also worked but never lysol wipes.
