Answer:	If you review the list of item #s listed in the second photo showing which model #s it fits and does not fit, 1893 is NOT on that list. I would say no after reviewing this list myself. I am not sure as I am not typically an apple friendly person. I acquired mine through a friend and it had a broken case. This particular item has a full list of fit/doesn't fit in the photo reviewing options.

Answer:	I did not actually measure my iPad I just took their word that the iPad 2/3/4 case slim fit would mean that it would fit my iPad2. I think I will physically measure my iPad to get a good fit when I next get a cover. I did cut two slim slices of the foam packing material that is the same size as the inside of the cover. After cutting the 2 strips from both sides of the vertical packing, I stuffed them into both the vertical sides to try to stop the slippage . Why am I writing all this, well I live in Jamaica, the possibility of returning something that isn’t right and having a return as right, really does cause lol. That being said, I really love the colours and artwork on the case. It doesn’t have a zillion extra pockets that end up making it fill up with things you can carry. If only it fit, it would get a 10! While the sellers are figuring out how to adjust some model sizes, I abstain choosing a star to assign at this time.
