The Linksys Connect utility allows you to search your router for connected devices.This confuses me because the instructions on the box say this feature is not supported, but I assure you it is. |

The only reason I stopped using it was when I setup my new wireless HP printer which somehow changed my router's password and I couldn't access it thru my network. Never did figure out what happened but I am keeping it as backup and will reset back to factory settings and restart the setup if and when I need it. |

| Answer: | Depending on how many walls or floors and the materials it has to pass through, I suspect the range to be able 100-150 feet. We have this router in an office building and the plaza next door to us (approx 250 feet) can see our signal. Downstairs and through a concrete floor, people who are only 20 feet away can get 1 bar of reception because the signal is trying to pass through cement. If you're using this with a wood floor, carpet or tile, you should still be getting decent signal. |

The BGW210-700 Broadband Gateway hardware platform can host different software. The Advanced Residential Gateway supports VoIP, IPv6, video delivery, security firewall, and extensive remote management features. The BGW210-700 Broadband Gateway delivers robust video, primary line telephony and high-speed data over broadband networks via high-speed Internet connectivity. The four Gigabit Ethernet ports can be separated into different services allowing the configuration of dedicated ports for data. It is designed for advanced DSL network service deployments and supports Quality of Service (QoS) enabled features including: Simultaneous use of phone, video, and high-speed data over any one of the available WAN interfaces IPTV video.
