If your router is wireless, just plug it in. When it is booted up, look in your wireless connections, select it and connect. Now, go to your web browser, type in the address line 192.168.2.2 to view the admin area. For password I used the default 1234. I entered my router name and security key and it connected to the router which I can now use to connect to. I don't recall if I had to download that app, but it what I typed her doesn't work, download the app and then try. Good luck.

Question:	Why is the smart assistant not allowing me to enable? I have a few devices that are 2.4 and I am not able to connect

Update the app to the latest version. 3. Check whether the signal connected is 5GHz or 2.4GHz. If it is 2.4GHz, you do not need to turn on the smart assistant; if it is 5GHz, please turn on the mobile phone location function and allow the APP to access the mobile phone's location service. If you still can't enable it, please take these 2.4GHZ devices to a spot distant from the mesh unit. Since 2.4GHZ has wider coverage than 5GHZ, hence, there will be a spot from the mesh unit covered by 2.4GHZ network. After you configured 2.4GHZ devices successfully, they can be applied normally.
