Answer:	Yes the EX8000 used as a wifi extender you have the option of having a guest network. You can use same SSID name as your main router or use a different SSID altogether. I did have issues with more than one extender on the same network using same SSID name as main router so I had to change one of the extenders to a different SSID.

Answer:	If you mean an AT&T router signal, yes. If you mean cell tower signal, then no.

Answer:	there are 4 ports. I use multiple ones as this is the only system I can find that does not change the network name but once a year I also have one break and have to replace it or hard reset it myself.

Then the next step. 2. Connectivity to the Repeater: This requires you to open your WI-FI settings in each device you want to connect to the repeater. Look for the network that has the extension _EXT or if you have 5G, then _5GEXT and select it. At this point all you need to do is enter your router password. For me, where I had 1 bar at 80' from my router, I now have 3 and 4 bars. I am super happy!

Answer:	I don't know if the cable company makes any modifications to it, but if not there should not be any issues. I added it easily to my pro setup which was originally a router an 2 beacons, now three.

Answer:	Eero is a mesh network. There are no “boosters” or range extenders as you need on a conventional WIFI network. Instead the various errors nodes all add to the network.. same SSID... same speed...same everything. You have to have an Eero or Eero pro routers , you can’t plug in a “beacon” on a non-Eero network.
Question:	Will this work with generation 1 networks
Answer:	Yes - however performance (range, throughput) will be lower than when paired with a Gen II router.
Question:	Why is the beacon twice the price of the router
Answer:	I just got off phone w Eero. The beacon costs more because it is smaller and has 3 channels. It is super easy to just plug in. The other one is 2nd gen and can be used as router or extender but has only 2 channels and needs to be placed on a table or surface. So if you have many users at same time, may be better to get beacon as you may need 3 channels for data flow, but if you just need it spread wifi over larger area, then save money and get the other one.

Answer:	You have to make sure notifications on whatever device you have the app downloaded on. Got to setting and app notifications. Make sure Aiwit is active.

Answer:	Dear Customer, Please follow the instructions below to check this issue. Step 1: Check the color of indicator light. When the wifi repeater extends wifi signal successfully, the indicator light is steady blue or steady red or blinking red. If it's red and flashing, indicates that the pairing is not successful, proceed to the second step. Step 2: Access the web-based management page, check if you can find the original router signal in the WLAN list. If you can't find the original router's SSID, please check: a. The distance between wifi repeater and your router, put them closer to each other. If the original router is too far away, the signal will be too weak to search. b. Whether your router is working properly. c. Whether you have set the of your router SSID hidden. If so, please make the SSID visible. d. What's the encryption standards of your original router? If it's WEP, please change it to WPA-PSK or WPA2-PSK or wpa/wpa2 psk mixed. Step 3: Check whether you entered the correct password. 1.Power on, connect to wifi router with an ethernet cable.

2.Go through setup procedure by using website UI.

3.When it prompts you to set a password, click mode in the menu. Change the mode to be an access point.

Signal indicator helps you find the best extending location

The signal light with different color means in this distance whether the wifi signal is good or not, when the light is blue means it has the best connected status. So you can judge by the color of the indicator light.

WPS One Button Connection
