Answer:	I would like to give you some personal advice. Do not buy any type of Netgear extender. They do not work at all. What you need to do is get a expensive router that is the best thing for your Wi-Fi system. Amazon can supply you with that. Or go to Best Buy and test it out. Trust me extenders do not work. You’re throwing your money away.

Answer:	Try using the extender's IP address - just enter 192.168.1.250 in the browser window, while the unit is powered and in close proximity to your router, which should be powered also, of course !

Answer:	The idea is 'no' because you are extending the existing bands off the main router with the same user ID and password so it's a mesh. You technically could set up the Extender to have different uid/pswrds then it's a yes but why have 4 networks (1 2.4ghz/1 5ghx - 1 E2.4ghz/ 1 E5ghz)? The reason you want this Extender is not only for ax capabilities but the mesh like framework. Also to get this particular Extenders 5ghz to see your routers 5ghz band you'll need to use the lower end of the 5ghz band
Question:	Whats the difference between _ext vs _5gext
Answer:	Just plug it in it will merge w your exsisting router
Question:	Does this permit 220v input? usually, there's a label on the device that says what range of input power the device will support, 110v or 100-240v
Answer:	I did a chat with Netgear about your question. The eax20 works with your current router to create a mesh system. Easy setup. The mk62 can work with an existing router, but requires more in-depth setup, in that you have to make your existing router a bridge. Additionally (according to Netgear) it does not create the seamless WiFi network that the eax20 does. Bottom line - the eax20 is designed to work with your existing router, and the mk62 is better suited to be a standalone system. I am sure a more network savvy person can make it work (and better explain), but it is beyond my abilities. I will go with the eax20 or eax80.

Answer:	This is a wireless access point not a router, that means that it only provides a wireless signal for computers, tablets phones etc. It must have a wired connection to it from the internet. It does not have a firewall so if you have a internet connection only at this time you should get a model with a router/firewall not this model.
Question:	How would it deal with heat? Would like to put it in an outdoor outlet that has a waterproof outlet cover. Gets lots of morning sun
Answer:	It's going to be connected to the same network and can have the same SSID. I use mine as an access point at the other end of the my house and gave it a slightly different name so I would know which device (my router also has wireless connectivity). I could always look at signal strength and tell the difference, but I like the slightly different name.
Question:	Is this compatible with xfinity comcast router? also, how many units will i need to cover from our office to outside courtyard room
Answer:	Also note that the ethernet port is only 100Mbit. So if your existing WiFi is usually capable of more than 100Mbit, for example your WiFi internet is 150Mbit or more, you will only get around 100Mbit or a little less to your ethernet device. You'd have to pay a little more money for a different device with a GigaBit ethernet port if you want to get anything more than 100Mbit out of this ethernet port.

Question:	How many devices can you connect at the same time
Answer:	It can extend wifi to the outdoors, but it needs to be plugged into a socket to use. Unless you want to put it in an area like a parking lot or shed, I will plug it in the house.
Question:	Does it come with a warranty
Answer:	Do it manually. Put paperclip looking tool in hole on side and hold it in for 10 seconds.Let it boot up for about 2 minutes.Then look for it in your phone, or whatever device wifi network menu. Click on it and wait for it to connect. You still won't have internet, click on it again.When it expands, click on the ip address and log in as it states in instructions (admin) is password. Then setup from there is optional depending on how you want to use it.
Question:	Can I use Alexa to turn the extender on and off

Answer:	Hello Crystal! With the testing we've done I'd say the Swift will give you usable internet speeds to about up to a quarter mile, the Falcon is closer to a half mile. Keep in mind these were using real world conditions that we tested in a real world application. There are a LOT of competitors that use "On paper" numbers that assume things like a perfectly clear line of sight in a vacuum of space, so some numbers out there are not factual for a real world application. Note that the numbers I am providing are in the real world, but were mostly unobstructed. Your range can differ based on things like amount of foliage, weather conditions, etc. I believe the Falcon is the only self pointing directional antenna on the market as of right now! Question:	Can it use as a primary router
Answer:	Hello Gabriel! The swift itself does not pick up 5ghz networks. The router can rebroadcast it as a 5ghz network. Generally when you are dealing with wanting range that is what the 2.4ghz network is better for, then once you are in an area that is short range and where you want to be able to communicate through walls better is when you switch it to the 5ghz. The reason we didn't make the antenna on the roof pick up 5ghz because the range is substantially less which is the main point of our product.
Question:	Will this repeater slow down my wifi speed? if i connect multiple devices, will my network work properly
Answer:	This is what engineering says,"The WiFiMax has an RP-SMA connector for a 2.4 GHz antenna. If used with other equipment, ensuring compliance with FCC or other applicable regulations is the responsibility of the user." So yes you can, but it is on the user to make sure you are FCC compliant if you use your own antenna. Do note that the Falcon we have for this is a high gain directional antenna that automatically points itself, so if you are looking for something you aren't having to set up every time that is an option as well. It's controlled via a phone app that we designed.
