Answer:	Dan Blake has the correct answer if you want to use your existing SSID. You cannot set it up that way (same SSID) using the WPS method. You'll have to use a second computer or device (I used my phone). Additionally, you'll need to also use the same password(s) for your existing SSID(s) and restart Wi-Fi (let it reconnect once) on each device to get a seamless network. If you want new networks, you can name then anything you want and set whatever passwords you want.

Answer:	When it works, it works great. When it doesn't work, it's a worthless brick and customer service is absolutely reprehensible. The customer service line (since it isn't listed on the website is 888-638-4327) and the phone tree is rage-inducing, and the hold times are beyond ridiculous. I did have issues with more than one extender on the same network using same SSID name as main router so I had to change one of the extenders to a different SSID.

Answer:	there are 4 ports. I use multiple ones as this is the only system I can find that does not change the network name but once a year I also have one break and have to replace it or hard reset it myself.

Question:	Can this extender be hard wired from the router with an ethernet cable for better performance
Answer:	This modem does work with WOW internet however I do not advise using it. Here in my area their internet slows down between 7-10pm. I am paying for 100mbps right now at 9:30pm I am getting 5mbps. This happens every night monday-thursday. Their tech support is blaming it on the modems channels do to "high traffic". I am chatting with TP Link tech support right now and they said the channels are fixed and you can not change them. So either WOW is throttling their internet or this modem really is the problem but no way to tell because all channels are locked/fixed so no changing them to test it.
Question:	Can I get two and piggy back off the other
Answer:	You split the cable and use the phone jack of their modem/router at no charge as if you have phone service they are obligated to provide the connection. Their latest model I picked up yesterday from TWC is a Technicolor TC8717T; the older model is an Arris Model TM602G/115 which I must return once I buy another TWC compatable modem. The old one would work too since it's just for a phone connection, but the TC is twice as large because its a DOS 3.0 modem/router. If your modem ever breaks, you can activate the TC modem for $10 a month until you buy another one. They may also charge you $8 for the modem and $4.95 for the router if it's not part of your package deal. No on-line or store bought modems have a phone jack as far as I know.

Answer:	I would like to give you some personal advice. Do not buy any type of Netgear extender. They do not work at all. What you need to do is get a expensive router that is the best thing for your Wi-Fi system. Amazon can supply you with that. Or go to Best Buy and test it out. Trust me extenders do not work. You’re throwing your money away.
