Question:	Can i set txpower to anything other than -23, -6, 0 and 4? app won't let me. also, is it possible to change password
Answer:	Yes, but you should note that beacons can not cause messages to appear on nearby phones unless those phones have your app installed. Without an app, beacons broadcasting URLs will have no effect on nearby phones. If you are reading articles that say this is possible, those articles are two years out of date.
Question:	How do you know when the battery is low and needs changed? Is there a way to see the % of battery remaining
Answer:	As far as I know, no, you can’t use a beacon as a smart lock trusted device. Why not? Because smart lock works with a connection to a Bluetooth device, e.g. a device such as headphones. When the device is present AND connected to your phone, your phone will stay unlocked. Beacons, on the other hand, do not connect to your phone ever, unless you are configuring them (which you usually will only do once in the lifetime of the beacon). One idea: I can’t guarantee it, but I think one of those “lost keys/luggage” devices would work. I’m definitely not sure about this though, so do some more research first.
Question:	Is the battery user replaceable
Answer:	Wish I had a good answer for this one, but I have not spent any time working with BLE dongles yet. One thing to be careful of: There are many many Bluetooth dongles on Amazon, but nearly all of them are for connecting a bluetooth keyboard to your computer (or headphones to your computer or similar type of application). These will NOT read beacons. What you need is a BLE dongle specifically for reading/scanning beacons.

Is this battery replaceable? If so how

Answer:

Good question. What I think you are referring to is a now-defunct system built by Google that used Google's Nearby app. The Nearby app was/is installed on all Android phones by default. Using this system, any Android phone could potentially receive a message and website link when within range of an Eddystone beacon broadcasting in Eddystone URL format. The bad news is that system has been TOTALLY SHUT DOWN now by Google. As of Dec 6, 2018, no Android phones receive these notifications anymore. iPhones never received these notifications in the first place (except for some custom setups which are now defunct as well). Without Google supplying the "engine" for this system to work, it does not work at all anymore. At this time, beacons users are back to the original plan: allowing apps to respond to the presence of beacons. There are some free apps that will do so. And of course many businesses are also writing their own custom apps that respond in various ways to beacons. Think hospitals, museums, trade shows, schools, etc. where beacons are placed strategically around the location and trigger certain/different actions on the smartphone when within range, e.g. showing a map of the location, or offering a coupon, or offering further information & links to the website, or offering an e-business card to be saved on the phone, etc. Many hobbyists are also incorporating beacons into their home management systems, e.g. triggering lights, opening garage doors, turning on/off alarms, changing heating settings for specific rooms, etc.

Answer:	Yes, the battery is replaceable. On one side of the beacon, there is a circular rubber piece. Just pull that up, and there are screws underneath. I have also added a "battery replacement" page on the bottom menu of our website with pictures and instructions.

Answer:	hello, the full power is 5dB. Battery life is all depends on the broadcast interval. When the interval is 1200ms, battery life is 1500days, and whrn interval is 100ms, battery life is 200days. Thanks!

Configuration Parameters APP

1, enter the APP and click the device you want to connect to.

2, click on the APP in the upper right corner to connect to the connected device

3, enter the pairing password (default 123456)

Beacon data format

1. The scan response packet has two parts: the first part is the name and sensor data; the second part is the basic information of the beacon, including mac, major, minor and other information. These two pieces of information are broadcast in turn.
2. If the beacon does not have a sensor, then there is only a portion of the data in the scan response packet.
3. If the beacon has only one sensor, only the corresponding sensor data is scanned in the response packet, and the other sensor data is 0.
4. Temperature and humidity data: temperature integer (1byte) + temperature decimal (1byte) + humidity integer (1byte) + humidity decimal (1byte)
5. Three-axis data: three-axis (x/y/z) sign bit (1 is a negative number, 0 is an integer 1 byte), three-axis (x/y/z) integer bits (1 byte), three axes (x/y/z) The first digit after the decimal point (1byte), the third digit after the decimal point (x/y/z) (1byte).
