ALL of them provide voice/text/and data services without any trouble when they are installed in this Mobile Hotspot Router. I agree their might be an issue regarding data speeds. In my situation I do not have a data only sim to experiment with.

Answer:	Verizon uses bands 2, 4,5 , 13, 66 depending on what tower you are located by. This device supports all but 13, which is the main band. Will it work, yes, but it is not 100% compatible. I would use cellmapper to find the tower closest to your location and find out what bands are used on that tower before purchasing.

Answer:	...It does not defeat the purpose of T-Mobile Home Internet. A MOFI is way better than the terrible 4g router tmo provides you. Take the sim card from that (crappy) router and put it in the MOFI and your choice of antenna.

Answer:	at the end of the cable, you need to have an SMA male connector (with a point at the end) that would go in the primary antenna connection

Answer:	It does not support 5G it supports 3G/4G and LTE. I would recommend you use your phone and run a "speed test" to see what kinds of speeds you can expect to get in the area you want to use it. I use Verizon and am very happy with the data speeds I am getting and it is a very rural area.

Answer:	No it will not work that way, in fact it may work for a while (maybe a day a week or few weeks) but then one morning you will wake up to a NO INTERNET :) even a data only hotspot plan will no longer work on these routers, probably some networks blacklisted the IMEI of MOFI routers , so you will not receive any signal!!! ....However, you can get it registered to Verizon and get a 15G data plan for $85, after the 15G, you will get 600mbps speed which is terrible....

Answer:	We use it in our MotorHome , on the inside it really works great. I do t think it’s for outside use.
Question:	What size is the screw that goes into the bottom
Answer:	Sort of, but no band 13 and you need band 13 for Verizon as that is the main band they use. That is why question answerer Jonathan Drost is having a hard time staying connected with his, he just doesn’t realize why. Verizon uses other bands also like 5 that this does support, but you really need 13 unless you are not going to travel with and use while you are doing so or it just so happens to be that you’re out in the sticks someplace and are on band 5. At my location band 13 is the strongest but band 5 isn't far behind it. So, I do not use this device as it does not cover B13. For Android you can get the free versions of Network cell info light or LTE discovery and see what band you are on. If you are sucker and like to spend more for less and have iPhone the instructions are on line for how to check.

Answer:	That is a good question and I do have the answer for you. You cannot take the sim card out of your cricket phone and use it in this hotspot because first, this hotspot is locked to AT&T so it will only accept an AT&T sim card. Second, the type of plan is different from a phone plan, so even if you had an AT&T phone with an AT&T sim card in it, you could not take that out even and have it work in this hotspot. Even if the hotspot was unlocked, it needs a sim that is blank from any information that way the new plan for just data can be added onto it. If you wan to use cricket, you would have to find an unlocked hotspot and get a new sim card from them, in which sometimes if you call them and tell them that you are a current customer, they will send you one for free. Then you need to make sure that cricket or any company you would be using supports a hotspot, in which it would need to have just a data plan that you can get, not one for phones, because hotspots do not have voice capabilities. This information really goes for any hotspot you would be looking to get. This is a great unit though, just look at AT&T data only plans to make sure it is in the price range you are looking for, for the amount of data you want. Have a great one.

Answer:	The device is also compatible with Straighttalk Bring Your Own Tablet SIM, which uses the AT&T network. 4G and above plans go for 60 days instead of AT&T's 30 days. Follow instructions on SIM kit, put SIM in the Unite and log in to the device with your computer. Go to settings -> mobile -> APN and create a new APN with "Prodata"

Answer:	Just did a chat with ATT as I also want to use this once or twice a year on vacation. She said there is no reactivation fee, ever. She also said the sim expires in 90 days, that is if you are not refilling it, so that you'd just need to get a new sim and pay for a data plan when you are ready to use it again. Answer:	You might need to change the APN to get it to work. I use T Mobile so can't describe the process for ATT. Maybe search for ATT APN and use the code provided there on the modem.
Question:	When will the wan port be enabled? i bought this for a failover of my cable modem. without the wan port it's useless to me
Answer:	If you plug it into your router's WAN port it should work. Fail over needs to be set up on your router, not the modem. Think of it as the same as your DSL or cable modem.
Question:	Are you able to hook up a signal cable to it so an antenna can be used
Answer:	It has 2 antenna connectors to attach an external antenna like the Netgear 6000450 MIMO Antenna with 2 TS-9 Connectors.
