Answer:	I think any water-based ink should work well. I use Waterman and Pelikan inks, which can also be ordered on Amazon.

Answer:	No it cannot. I would advise against buying this pen, i have been having probems in getting ink to flow to the nip. Not worth the investment, too bad i could not return it for a full refund.

Answer:	The pen is made in China, as is much of what we buy. I recently purchased a flagship Cross pen that retailed for $650. The pen body was made in China, and the nib was made in Japan. The pen is truly one of the writers I own. Manufacturing in China is the reality we can't change. If you are looking for a USA made fountain pen, good luck, there are very few. One thing I would remind you is that the pen has a two-year warranty, if you buy the pen and it is not right, get it in for repairs and keep sending it back until right. It may be a hassle, but that is the only way we have to make manufacturers produce quality stuff and hopefully in the USA.

Answer:	If the pen skipping, you can follow the instruction below to solve it: 1) Soak the nib part in warm water for five minutes ,Reassemble the pen after cleaning, and test ink flow. If this doesn't help, try the next step. 2) Insert a razor blade slowly and carefully through the tip of the pen into the small gap between the two tines of the nib. Withdraw it slowly and carefully.Report this for a few times. This should clean that area. Test the pen once again for ink flow.
