Answer:	It might. I have used it successfully with an Android 6.01 X92 TV box. While I haven't been able to get any Android players to play DVD movies directly from the disk, I have been able to play VOB files from the VIDEO_TS directory on a DVD.
Question:	Does it work with hp probook 430 g5? the original connector has a blue tip
Answer:	I've used it on a desktop. As long as your motherboard has USB ports (this needs two) then it should work fine. I even used it on an old 98 machine to get the rest of my old files off it.
