Answer:	Nope. If you use it as much as I do, it will inevitably become worn. I'm starting to see evidence of holes on the way, but considering how much I put it through, it's obviously very high quality - taking more abuse than previous bags I've owned. In fact, I'm returning to the States briefly in a few days and might get another since I don't know when I'll return next. The caveat would be that there is some possibility of accidentally brushing against the latch (it's a pry-type from its top) and causing it to open. I never lock mine, but it doesn't "move around" a lot either. Hope this was helpful.
