In the Bostanten the inner purse is flimsey and rolls around inside the big bag. Answer:	I think they would dye, but in my experience with dying canvas the colors will be more muted. i.e. I used bright pink dye on a different canvas bag and got a medium pink. I put vinyl on these and they took it well. They don't shrink and they are very sturdy.
