Question:	Is the middle compartment removable
Answer:	It is not easy. You have to do each leaf individually to look the way you want it to look. Mine sits in a corner so I made most of the leaves face forward anf fifn;t worrk about the ones in back. As in everything, you get used to it and it looks better each day. I honestly doubt that anyone has made their tree look like the photo. I also put mine in a nice pot and it sits on a rod iron decorative base.

Answer:	We purchased an aztec style clay pot from Home Depot that is 10 inches high and has a 9 inch diameter opening. The plant fits right inside beautifully. Note: Buy a real clay pot, not plastic. The weight keeps the plant upright. Hope this helps.
